Alyssa & Jon // Embassy Theatre Wedding

Alyssa and Jon’s wedding was so amazing! The getting ready, ceremony time, and reception were all held at the beautiful, historic Embassy Theatre of downtown Fort Wayne. We had all hands on deck making this one special wedding! Read all about Alyssa and Jon’s story and engagement here (CLICK ME).

Alyssa and all of the beautiful women in her life got ready for the day in a gorgeous room of the Embassy, with a great view of downtown Fort Wayne… with no rain! Even though rain was forecasted all day, it managed to hide away until evening and stopped again at the end of the night. That gave us the perfect opportunity for some epic rooftop shots of Alyssa and Jon over downtown Fort Wayne. Alyssa was helped in to her beautiful white dress by her bridesmaids. Alyssa’s dress was mermaid style with multiple layers of lace and beautiful beading. The sweetheart neckline and open back design of the dress made Alyssa a show stopper… and a beautiful bride! Her bridesmaids wore one of two selected styles of long black dresses; one off-the-shoulder and the other a two-strap style. The black gowns paired with gold, sparkly jewelry made for one glam look (and was one of Alyssa’s only opportunities to make her friends were Black and gold – She’s a huge Purdue fan).

Alyssa and Jon had their first look on the first floor of the Embassy. They wanted to capture the first look and the beautiful architecture of the Embassy all in one moment. After the tearful and very happy first look, it was ceremony time! Alyssa and Jon’s marriage was so sweet. After a sweet message from their officiant/friend, rings and vows were exchanged, a cord of three was tied, and the two were married! Needless to say, it was a beautiful ceremony!

After happily greeting to each of their guests, we took family portraits on the beautiful staircase of the Embassy. From there, we went to different spots around downtown with the bridal party for some sweet group shots and shots of the bride and groom!

The reception was beautiful as well. Held on the 6th and 7th floors of the Embassy, the view of downtown Fort Wayne was stunning! There were so many elements that made the night as special as it was: the live music by Casual Friday (they were amazing), ice cream sandwiches, photo booth station, dancing, toasts, rooftop views, and so much more. We had the wonderful opportunity to witness the love of both Jon and Alyssa’s families. We are so honored to have shot this sweet wedding. We wish you guys a happy marriage!

Cheers,
-Dustin & Corynn
