Meet Kelly and Brandon! These two Cincinnati love birds have chosen us to be their wedding and engagement photographers. We could not be more excited about it – We absolutely love our Cincinnati couples! When we travel for sessions, it is so fun seeing new venues and locations for photos. We’re getting a bit ahead of ourselves here…. Anyway, we had a great time with Kelly and Brandon at their engagement session. Here’s why!
- It rained! I know… how could that be good? Well, we find weather challenges to be fun in a way. It causes us to use our creative juices and fun ideas to make the session special for each couple. Kelly and Brandon didn’t let it get them down either! They danced, got in the fountain of the park we were at, and just rolled with the punches of the weather. It was a blast – Plus, the photos turned out pretty special! And who is going to forget getting engagement photos in the rain am I right!
- You could FEEL the love between Kelly and Brandon. They were just smitten. Even though the weather was rainy and cloudy, these two made it shine! This is what we love seeing as photographers… love!
- Cincinnati is very fun to visit and photograph! We love the variety of locations and new experiences as photographers – different ones than in Fort Wayne (though we still love Fort Wayne). We can’t wait to see what venues and photo locations Kelly and Brandon choose for their wedding. We just know it’s going to be awesome!
So even though we ran into some trouble with the weather, these two rocked their engagement session. We enjoyed getting to know Kelly and Brandon during our time together and getting to be a part of this special time in their lives! Seriously, we can’t wait for the wedding next year. Until then…!

Meet Taylor & Cory! This super sweet couple was amazing to work with. Taylor and Cory are from Ohio, but travel to Indiana often for the lake and family – both are really important to them! Fun fact: Taylor is also a wedding photographer and we were pretty stoked that she chose us as her and Cory’s photographers (Taylor Ford Photography).
We had such a difficult time with the weather when planning our sessions. It seemed every time we put something on the schedule, it rained! With all of this, we ended up doing 2 mini sessions. We did one kind of last minute in downtown Fort Wayne after Taylor had her trial hair and makeup appointment. Although, these two don’t have much of a connection to Fort Wayne! So we did their second session at Lake Wawasee in Syracuse Indiana at Taylor’s family lake cottage. We always ran into crazy weather with these sessions, but it never scared us! Most photographers feel discouraged with weather like we had, but we like the challenge. We get to dig deep into our arsenal of creativity. At the lake, we went to the Oakwood Resort for some photos on the beach and on the pier – They turned out so cool!
These two are getting married at the lake at the end of September – We are so looking forward it! Check the blog out in October to hear all about it.

Meet Sarah and Ben! We first met this amazing couple in Cleveland last Fall. They were guests at another wedding we were photographing. Both avid dancers, we couldn’t help noticing their slick moves on the dance floor! Since Corynn used to be a professional ballet dancer, we decided to strike up a conversation about dance. We had a great time talking to these two so we could not have been happier that they chose us to take their engagement photos (CLICK ME) and soon to be wedding photos!
This session was an adventure around Cincinnati! We hit several great outdoor spots and used the city’s beauty as our backdrop. We started off taking pictures around Sarah’s neighborhood. There was a very cool bridge and some interesting architecture that we couldn’t pass up. We continued our session by sashaying down to the waterfront for some fun photos near the water and under bridges, and then made our way to the park where Ben had previously proposed to Sarah. It was such a pleasure to capture Sarah and Ben as they revisited such a special spot.
We wrapped up the day by taking some epic photos on the top of some stairs. The sun was setting and it was absolutely gorgeous. We had Sarah and Ben stand on a fountain to get the best angle with the sunset in the background. A policeman came over and gave us a lecture on how “unsafe” it was. He went on and on, but there was no way we were going to let him get us down. We got the shot and Sarah and Ben came down from the fountain safe and sound!
This was such a fun session and we had a great time with you guys. We cannot wait to see what you have in store for your wedding! One thing is for sure, we are looking forward to an unforgettable first dance!

Presenting Grace and Aaron! These two decided to take their engagement photos back to where their relationship began, Valparaiso University. Their alma mater is nearly a two-hour drive from Fort Wayne, Indiana. However, being travel engagement photographers, we relish the opportunity to see couples in their happiest place.
We used the beauty of the university to help capture the story of Grace and Aaron. Every building had a memory, and every sidewalk contained lost footprints of their past. We even reenacted the proposal under a gazebo they must have walked by a dozen times during their time in school.
There was an abundance of inspiration around us to create naturally loving photos, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t get a little crazy in our adventures. At one point, while Grace and Aaron were safely lying on the ground, we climbed way up into the trees to photograph down below. We are travel engagement photographers, whether on the road or in a tree!
We wish you guys the best of luck in your new adventure together! We’re excited for your Fort Wayne Country Club wedding this fall and for you two to move on to St. Louis!

Meet Paige and Andrew!!
This lovely and laidback couple met in college and from there, they started a story all their own. Andrew asked Paige to marry him in Columbus, Ohio; what better way is there to photograph an engagement session than to go back to where it happened? As travel engagement photographers, we are always trying to capture the moments that mean the most to our clients.
We started our session under the bridge by the river in Bicentennial Park in downtown Columbus. Paige and Andrew probably came to this session thinking it was going to be simple. However, when we mentioned going under the bridge and not on it, they definitely thought we were a little crazy. Nonetheless, the photos turned out amazing, and their bold outfit choice really popped against the grey concrete.
We did many fun photos throughout our time together, even some of them where he proposed. To top it off, they were photobombed while posing along an ivy wall by two local children! The couple even invited them to join in on a couple of photos!
The wind was a bit unforgiving that day, but Paige was able to do an awesome job given the circumstances. We ended with an amazing landscape shot of the couple in front of the downtown Columbus skyline. They gave us every bit of love they have for each other, and it really shows in the photographs. They truly did turn out beautiful, just like them.
Paige and Andrew were a pleasure to work with! You can see their engagement session here. They will marry this fall in Fort Wayne, and we absolutely look forward to working with them again!

Hello! Meet Emily and Max. These two and their families originate from good ol’ Fort Wayne, Indiana (That’s how they heard about us). However, our engagement session with them was in none other than, duh duh duuuh…. New York City. Corynn and I travel everywhere for our couples, including big awesome cities across the country. These two flew me out to New York for their engagement photos. For Emily and Max’s session, we were especially excited. We lived in New York in the early years of our relationship so it’s always a blast going back. I enjoyed every minute of being there and loved hanging out with Emily and Max.
These two Fort Wayne natives live in New York City for Max’s finance career. He has always dreamt of working on wall street, so these two made it happen! Emily is lovely school teacher and hopes to follow all of her career dreams alongside Max. From what we have seen with these two, they have what it takes to make all their dreams come true (including having us as their awesome wedding photographers).
The weather was overcast as the day of their photos approached, but we managed to work around the weather with these guys. We were dealing with rain the day of, but Emily and Max made our job pretty easy despite the weather – just look at them! We all made the best of it and ended up with some really awesome photos! We, of course, hit all the fun New York locations. Can you guess where? The Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, and other cool spots in between. We had such a blast spending time with Emily and Max in a city so close to our hearts. We especially love that New York City Skyline (Check it out below)! We are looking forward to going back in September for your wedding! Thanks for an awesome New York session, you guys!
