Meet Abby and Weston! These guys will be getting married next summer in Decatur Indiana at the beautiful Mirage banquet hall. These country folk are staying true to their roots and close to home for their big day! These two have been together for what seems like forever! It was just two years ago when we met Abby and Westin.
We met Abby and Weston at Weston’s older brother’s wedding. We were their wedding photographers too! Man, was that a fun wedding. What’s funny is that we teased Abby about when they were gonna give us a call about shooting their wedding. Now look where we are today! We are pumped to see this awesome family again and be a part of another awesome wedding.
We went to good ol’ Metea Park in Fort Wayne for Abby and Weston’s engagement photos. We enjoy bringing our couples here because there is so much variety in scenery and backgrounds. Plus, it’s appearance changes a lot because of the weather and the changing seasons. These guys made our job fun – We love when our couples can just laugh with us and go along with our sense of humor and typically bad jokes! Super goofy couples are the best!
We are super excited to shoot another wedding in such an awesome family. Next summer can’t come fast enough.

Our intern Lily and her fiancé Jace are getting married in less than two weeks! We had a blast at their engagement session. You may recall our last session with Lily and Jace this past summer at the awesome Indiana Beach Amusement Park. If you didn’t get a chance to check that one out, you can click here (CLICK ME) to view all of those photos and read about our time with them there! These two Fort Wayne natives wanted some photos, well, in Fort Wayne! Our last session with them was another special location to the couple – They thought it’d be pretty fun to do photos in Fort Wayne!
We had the pleasure of shooting in the beautiful GE Campus in Fort Wayne. This campus is Fort Wayne’s, rather Indiana’s, largest renovation project in the history of the state! The old factory held a historic edge while also providing a modern/industrial backdrop for photos. I think we were just as excited about shooting in this space as Lily and Jace were! Well, as excited as Lily.. Jace? Not so much. But he knew how excited Lily was for these photos, so he put on a smile and bared the cold!
Don’t let their smiles fool you… it was FREEZING outside. These two didn’t put coats on for the whole session! Let’s be real here though, do they even look cold? Needless to say, we are super excited for our intern and her fiancé. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding! These guys will be getting married in just two weekends at their church. The reception will be at the beautiful and historic Baker Street Station in downtown Fort Wayne, a beautiful venue for winter weddings. We are looking forward to capturing Lily and Jace’s big day and see our intern in front of the camera, rather than behind! Check back here in a few weeks to see all of their wedding photos and details! More fun to come!

Meet Amanda and Ryan, another one of our awesome 2019 couples! We learned a lot about these two during our session together – We’re getting excited about next years wedding season already! Both Amanda and Ryan went to Purdue University. Since graduating, these two have gotten engaged and started wedding planning!
These two Purdue alumni were super fun to work with – Amanda’s mom even came along to help hold coats, phones, wallets, and more! She was an awesome help and made things go so smoothly! We walked all over Metea Park to find fun, fall locations for their engagement photos – I think we were successful! If we haven’t said it enough, we love Metea Park…, especially in the fall! We love the opportunity that engagement session gives us! We get to learn so much about our couples: how they met, what they’ve been involved in, and more! Something we didn’t know about Ryan is that he was an awesome Rugby player!
We’re happy to share this super sweet fall engagement session! Like we said before, we have loved getting to work with Amanda and Ryan. These guys are getting married next summer at the Fort Wayne Tincaps stadium. We are really looking forward to next June!
See you guys soon…

Well everyone, meet Gabby and Kyle! This awesome, newly engaged couple chose us to be their Fort Wayne Engagement photographers! These Fort Wayne natives went to Purdue University! Kyle is quite business savvy and Gabby is a Veterinarian (hence her love for animals and their two dogs)! These two will be getting married next year, however we will not be shooting their wedding because it’s outside Philadelphia! We were stoked that these guys wanted us to do their engagement photos! Even though we won’t be shooting their wedding next year, we are so honored that we had the chance to meet Gabby and Kyle and do a beautiful fall engagement session with them (and their dogs)!
For the location of their engagement session, we chose Fort Wayne own’s Metea Park! This beautiful park offers a lot of variety with locations as well as tons of fall colors. With it being November, the cold weather is really starting to roll in! These two were troopers though and handled the colder weather like champs. We hope you two have a super engagement and a beautiful wedding day! Thanks again for choosing us to capture this special time in your lives. Happy planning!

Meet Lindsey and Josh! These two were just the sweetest to work with. They are getting married next year at the Joseph DeCuis farm, a beautiful venue in Roanoke Indiana!
We met up with Lindsey and Josh at the University of Saint Francis at the grand Bass Mansion. With it being October, Lindsey expressed to us that she “love love loves fall”. We made sure to find locations with lots of colorful, changing trees so we could capture those fall colors for Lindsey! I think we accomplished just that!
When these two arrived, Lindsey said she had never had professional photos taken of herself before! She thought that she would be awkward, but these guys were the exact opposite! We barely had to help with posing ideas – Lindsey and Josh were so natural around each other. They just made it easy!
One thing we love about our job is when we get to capture things that are unique or special to couples. In this case, it was their adorable dogs – two beautiful labs. After taking some photos of just Lindsey and Josh, we headed over to a beautiful open field where their dogs could run, romp, and play. The dogs were so good and easy to work with! While the dogs ran freely through the field, Lindsey and Josh popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate their engagement (and to capture some really cute pictures)!
We loved getting to work with you guys and your adorable pups. Thank you for choosing us to capture this special part of your lives – Can’t wait for the wedding next year! Happy planning.

Meet another one of our 2019 couples, Kayleen and Rob! These guys wanted something fun and different with their engagement photos – so we got creative! Kayleen is a nurse practitioner and Rob is a firefighter and EMT. You know what that means? We just HAD to take some pictures at the fire station. We love when our couples want to add fun elements in their shoot with us, especially when that means we get to take photos with a firetruck. Kayleen even wore her scrubs! It was so cool!
After the awesome photos at the fire station, we headed over to Salomon Farms, It was beautiful this time of year – so many fall colors! We captured the most beautiful sunset with these guys at the farm. It was epic! Kayleen and Rob are getting married next year at the Goegleins Homestead, a beautiful banquet center with high ceilings, wood beams, and really, really good food! We are getting really excited for their wedding next year! It’ll be here before we know it. Until then! Happy planning.
