On today’s blog, we are introducing one of our 2019 couples…. Jenna and Mike! Fun fact about Mike: He is a flight instructor and is training to become a pilot – that’s a pretty cool gig. Their Fort Wayne Engagement session was so fun! These two traveled all the way from the great city of Indianapolis for their photos here. Both Jenna and Mike grew up in Fort Wayne and now live in Indianapolis. Just going off of how much fun we had with them during their session, we knew these photos would turn out great! And they did! We love our out-of-town couples. No matter where you’re from, it’s pretty easy to capture the love!
We decided on Metea Park in Fort Wayne for the location of their session! There are a lot of open fields, tall grass, woods, trails, and more. It’s a great location for couples looking for cozy fall pictures! The weather during Jenna and Mike’s session was exceptionally beautiful – bright blue skies, sunshine, and it was pleasantly warm! We just have to talk about their stellar outfit choices. One of Jenna’s outfits was a beautiful black lace dress with a long, sheer bottom – Mike wore a light blue dress shirt and black pants to match. Their first outfit was sharp! It always makes taking photos a little more fun when you can see how much the people you’re photographing care about the whole process.
Corynn and I had such a good time with you guys – We are so thankful that you made the trip up to Fort Wayne. We are already getting super excited for your Fort Wayne wedding next year! Until then.

With the fall season comes changing leaves and crisp air. For most, it’s a fun season of change! For photographers, it’s the busiest time of the year! Over the next couple weeks we’ll be sharing a lot of engagement sessions of our 2019 couples! Check out our Instagram @DustinandCorynn to keep up with all of our weddings, engagement sessions, and more!
Meet one of our upcoming 2019 couples! Molly and Nick met while in school at Indiana University. We loved this engagement session because we got to shoot at downtown Fort Wayne and in Grabill Indiana. The mix of locations and variety during our shoot made for a really fun session.
We started off in downtown Fort Wayne where we really took advantage of all the brick surroundings – Their denim and light blue outfits popped so much against the environment. We even hiked up to the top of the parking garage for photos with the gorgeous skyline of downtown Fort Wayne. These two were up for anything – we love that part of our job.
After a quick outfit change, we headed over to Headwaters Park for some sweet photos – all smiles and laughs from these two. Molly wore an Orange floral romper, complimenting Nick’s blue denim on denim look perfectly.
After we took plenty of photos downtown, we drove over to Molly and Nick’s hometown, Grabill Indiana. We were chasing light too – the sun was getting away from us, but we made it work! The little country town was full of charm and rustic settings. Molly changed into a beautiful white lace dress – the bottom half was sheer! The mix of modern downtown fort Wayne and charming Grabill added so much variety to Molly and Nick’s session. Plus, we love when we get to capture couples where they feel the most comfortable and natural. Once we got to their house in Grabill, it was getting pretty dark, so we decided it was the perfect time for sunset shots! We even got to capture pictures of their sweet pup!
We loved getting to know Molly and Nick and getting to see their hometown in all its charm. Looking forward to your wedding at Union 12 next summer! Already getting excited for it.

Meet Trish and Chase! We went to Chase’s family farm for their engagement photos. Even though it was so cold, these two kept it cozy. The old family barn was the perfect backdrop for our session together as the farm means so much to Chase’s family. It’s where they hunt and hangout together – a special place for sure! We took photos in front of the barn, in the woods, on a wood stack, inside the barn, and in the fields on the property. It was kind of scary climbing around in the old barn – It was super rickety so we had to be extra careful. The pictures were totally worth it though!
These two chose quite a day for their engagement photos. At the time of our session, it was super cold still – really, really cold. Trish wore a dress during the photos… and she didn’t even complain once! It was so cold that we left our cars on with the heat blasting so we could have a warm place to be after standing in the cold for so long. We were bundled up so much – we can’t imagine what Trish felt like in her dress!
Trish and Chase are getting married this summer at Ceruti’s, a large Fort Wayne venue. We are so looking forward to your wedding guys! See you soon.

Meet Amanda and Chris! We loved working with these two! Chris and Amanda go weeks apart without seeing each other as he works with trains for a living, traveling all over on trains for days at time. With his profession, you can imagine that Chris is a man’s man. He’s a rough and tumble kind of guy! So when it came time for their engagement photos, he was super sweet and decided to put extra effort into dressing up for his fiance! It was a big deal when he wore his dress shoes – ahh, the things love will make you do!
We met up with Amanda and Chris at Salomon Farms for their engagement session. We started on a long paved pathway where the sun peeked through the pine trees. These two wrapped up all cozy in a blanket too – It was super sweet. Then we moved down near the water of a creek at the farm for some photos along the water. We finished up with some photos up by the house: on the steps, on the front porch, and in front of the darling farm-styled home. We loved this session simply because of the happiness on Amanda and Chris’ faces. The fact that Chris put extra effort into his outfits and appearance for something so important to Amanda exemplifies how it’s the little moments of thoughtfulness that make a marriage (and us photographers) very happy! We have no doubt that these two are going to have an amazing wedding and even happier marriage. Can’t wait for your wedding this fall at Sylvan Cellars! See you guys soon.

Meet Sam & Paul, one of our newest couples for the upcoming 2019 wedding season. We had a blast with these two and are so excited for their summer wedding on Fort Wayne Indiana.
We started our session off on a great foot and the good time continued through their entire shoot! These two laughed through all their photos which made the whole session super fun. We began taking photos on the bridge near Foster Park in Fort Wayne. From there, we took a walk to the other side of the park, but first we just had to get some pictures in the river – we couldn’t resist! These two were up for any and all picture ideas we had and had absolutely no hesitation. You can imagine how excited we were when these two were okay with getting in the water! Just check out how great those turned out. We went to the timeless and iconic Bridal Glen at Foster Park for some sweet photos with the heart shaped arch way and overflowing flowers of the gardens. We had to be kind of sneaky and quiet around the Bridal Glen however, because there was a wedding going on at the time of our session! It didn’t stop us from capturing the awesomeness of this gorgeous location and our super adventurous couple! The greenery and bright summery flowers of the park were a perfect pair for these two’s summer Engagement session in Fort Wayne.
Sam and Paul were laid back and so easy to work with – we seriously had such a great time with them! We wrapped up our session with the beautiful Indiana sunset – They turned out to be pretty epic! Thanks for an awesome session, you guys. We are so excited to be your photographers at your wedding next year. Let the countdown begin!

Meet Jessica and Brandon! We could not stop laughing with these two – it was a blast. A little bit about these two, they met online and fell in love. They said it was pretty instant – When you know, you know! It’s so sweet to see how technology today has the capabilities to bring two people together – and for marriage too! We love of good modern day fairy tale.
We went to Metea Park in Leo for Jessica and Brandon’s engagement session. We love going here with our couples because there are so many pretty locations and trails – It always makes for a fun time! Adventurous and fun loving, these guys were up for anything! By the end, these two were actually in the water at Metea Park. As photographers, we appreciate a good wardrobe and these two had it. We loved Jessica’s pop of color in her yellow top and Brandon’s navy shirt. Their clothes complimented nicely just as their personalities do! Side note… Anyone who has ever worked with us knows that I, Dustin, roll out jokes like it’s my job. Jessica and Brandon were super easy to make laugh too – which meant they laughed at all my corny jokes. So we love these two, obviously.
Jessica and Brandon are getting married this fall at one of Fort Wayne newest venues – Union 12. We cannot express enough how excited we are to take pictures here – especially of Jessica and Brandon! We love a good venue and this one will be perfect for Jessica and Brandon’s fall wedding. We are looking forward to it!
