Downtown Indianapolis Mass Ave Engagement Photos | Lindsey & Andrew

Meet Lindsey & Andrew! These cuties invited us to spend an evening exploring downtown Indianapolis with them and we were so down with that! We started at the legendary Mass Ave because Lindsey was trying to surprise Andrew with a photo in front of a mural of his favorite author, Kurt Vonnegut, however, Andrew had no idea what he looked like so he was hilariously clueless. But hey it’s the thought that count rights? Also, you will notice that most photos that start with a kiss between these two end with full out laughing, jealous? I think you should be 🙂

Next, we ventured down to one of our favorite spots, the Indianapolis Canal near the Indiana State Museum and Indianapolis Capital Building. I hope you enjoy these two lovebirds, they started the session with, we don’t want to be all lovey-dovie like most people, well I think by the end they were sold on the method to our madness.

Cheers,

Jane & Jim // Big Long Lake Engagement Session

Jane & Jim // Big Long Lake Engagement Session

Meet Jane & Jim! This is everything you want in an engagement session, Love, Laughter…and the LAKE! When these guys invited us up to the lake to photograph their engagement photos at Big Long Lake in Northeast Indiana, we were like heck yeah! We love the lake! We were then able to meet Jim’s parent and snap some super cute photos of them as well.

We are so pumped to photograph these cuties wedding later this summer in downtown Indianapolis! So we won’t share too much because you will have to wait and see those pictures.  Oh and did I mention that our daughter Charlie took one of these photos!

Cheers,

Hailey & David // North Fort Wayne Nature Engagement Photos

Meet Hailey & David.  I’m pretty sure these photos speak for themselves, but Hailey and David are freaking beautiful human beings.  It was a perfect session, just north of Fort Wayne in a quiet nature preserve.  We photographed in the dark and stormy setting and we ended right when it started to rain; perfect timing! We enjoyed our time with them so much, and they make us so excited for our 2018 wedding season.  I hope you enjoy this Fort Wayne engagement session because we sure did enjoy photographing it.

Cheers,

Amanda & Richard // Salomon Farms Engagement Photos

Amanda & Richard // Salomon Farms Engagement Photos

Meet Amanda and Richard, where do I start with these two…I don’t know what it is about this 2017 wedding season, but we have the most beautiful couples, both inside and out.  Amanda and Richard are like kindred spirits of ours, we literally felt like we were hanging out with friends….and when this happens, oh boy does that make our job way more fun.  This brings me to the bummer, they LIVE in KANSAS!  WHY!!! However, Amanda and Richard have promised us they will be moving back to good old Fort Wayne Indiana in the future.

These two didn’t even need engagement photos, but they wanted to hang out and get to know each other better before the big wedding day, and I was like there is no better way than getting in front of our cameras! So we took an adventure around Salomon Farms park and had a great time!

Cheers!

Carlissa & Steven // Downtown St Louis Engagement Photos

Carlissa & Steven // Downtown St Louis Engagement Photos

Meet Carlissa & Steven! When these two gave us the opportunity to travel to their home turf  of St Louis we were so flipping excited! A chance to photograph under the arch! We couldn’t pass it up. However we were a bit nervous the days leading up to the shoot because of the weather channel making it seem like St Louis was now the new Atlantis and that we may need a boat.

All though the flooding was bad, it couldn’t stop us.  We started with how Carlissa and Steven met, Softball.  We made them cuddle in the dugout for the first time and these two have a laugh that is contagious, I wish we had audio. Next we went down to the Arch where we got some fun shots along the flood waters.  We finished strong with the epic St Louis Arch photo!

I am not going to lie we really enjoyed St Louis, the amazing FREE zooPharaoh’s Donuts, and of course the freaking awesome arch!

Next time you see these two on the blog it will be after their New York Wedding this fall, whoop whoop!

Cheers
