When you think destination wedding in February your mind rushes with images of warm sandy beaches and gorgeous sunsets. For Melissa and Sean, their destination wedding took them back to their snowy hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. There may have been snow on the ground and a cold breeze blowing, but the love between Melissa and Sean filled your heart and soul with warmth. That’s why we love Indianapolis wedding photography!
Melissa was truly stunning in her ballgown and Sean, the image of the perfect gentleman, in his classic black tuxedo. Eyes were on Melissa and her father as they began their journey down the aisle of St Luke Methodist in Indianapolis, Indiana. That’s when we snuck a peek at Sean to see his reaction of his gorgeous bride. There were hints of tears in Sean’s eyes and it was in that moment that you could see just how much he loved his bride. Those are the moments we love to capture! The ceremony had touched on Melissa’s musical background and featured a local vocal group which Melissa belonged to before moving to Washington D.C. The ceremony was gorgeous, classic and every girl’s dream.
With the Dinosphere and Water Clock, the perfect backdrop was set for the reception at the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. The reception was an amazing celebration of love, family, and friends. The Bishops, one of the hottest bands in the Indianapolis area, got everyone on their and feet and kept the celebration alive!
Melissa and Sean, thank you for letting us into your life. We are so thankful to have met you! Enjoy your new life as husband and wife!
Lots of love,
Dustin and Corynn McKibben
