Olivia & Austin // Memorial Coliseum Wedding

Olivia and Austin are married! You may remember them from their super sweet Clear Lake engagement session with us. You can see all of those photos and read about their session here (CLICK ME)! We are so excited to share their awesome wedding day details and photos. Here’s their big day…
The day started at Olivia’s family home. Her and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting the hair and makeup done while sipping on mimosas. Olivia gifted each of her bridesmaids a custom tote with different phrases on them describing everyone uniquely and shirts monogrammed with everyone’s initials. Even their little dog was dressed to par in his little Velcro tux! After getting ready, everyone headed over to the church. Once everyone was at the church, Olivia was helped in to bed dress by her mom, and her bridesmaids helped with jewelry and shoes – beautiful details! Olivia and her girls hung out in a different part of the church while the guys arrived (couldn’t spoil that first look down the aisle), then it was ceremony time!
The ceremony was held at St. jude Catholic Church. Once everyone was seated, Olivia and her dad made their way down the aisle. After a super sweet ceremony, these two were married! They were just smitten and so happy!
The best part is that the rain for the day held off for awhile! This poor couple went through a lot of unfortunate weather while scheduling their engagement session with us – rain rain and more rain! Because of all their trouble with the weather while scheduling their engagement session, we were sure there would be good weather on the wedding day! We were half right! A lot of the day was sunny, but it poured rain at one point! Luckily, the weather was beautiful and sunny leading up to the ceremony and some of the time after. After the ceremony, everyone hopped in to the trolly. Our first stop was Olivia’s grandma’s house. She had passed away recently and Olivia wanted to incorporate her into their big day! Given the incoming weather, we ended up doing all of the bridal party photos there. After it started raining, everyone hopped back in the trolly where we stopped at the Deerpark Irish Pub! Since we couldn’t take photos in the rain, we could at least take pictures in the bar! Olivia and Austin has great spirits about the weather too. They made the most out of the situation! After enjoying some quality time with each other and a few beers, it was time for the reception!
The reception was at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. There were wild flowers and greenery decorating everything and a beautiful cake covered in florals. This wedding reception was just down right beautiful! Olivia’s dad gave a wonderful toast, as did the best man and maid of honor. Lots and lots of happy tears! Family is very important to Olivia and Austin. You may recognize Olivia’s now maiden name, Henry! She is Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry’s niece. This wedding was so awesome to be apart of. Every detail was so thought through and unique to them as a couple. We have enjoyed getting to know you guys through this awesome and happy part of your lives – We wish you a happy marriage!
Cheers
