Meet Vanessa and Brent! It was pure fate when these two met for the first time. Vanessa walked into the car dealership that Brent owns looking to buy a new car, and Brent’s salesman charm convinced her to make a deal. She drove off with the car and Brent’s number. We first met this great couple during their engagement session (see their engagement album here) and couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding as well!

The bride and groom chose the Empyrean in Fort Wayne for their wedding. The day began getting ready at the venue. The bride and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done while dressed in luxurious matching robes. Brent and his groomsmen stayed relaxed as they competed in a few rounds of ping-pong while they waited for the ladies to finish glamorizing. Vanessa’s gift to her future husband was an elegant watch, chosen specifically so Brent wouldn’t wear his less-than-formal Apple watch on the big day. Attached to the watch was a playful note saying “don’t be late.”

Dressed in varying shades of teal and blue Vanessa’s bridal party led the way to the altar. Since the family is especially important to both Vanessa and Brent, Vanessa’s brother, Father Mario officiated the wedding. He was overwhelmed with happiness at the first look of his sister in her wedding dress. Making the day truly a family affair, McKenzie, the daughter of our bride and groom served as flower girl. It was an emotional ceremony filled with love and tears of joy.

The reception was also held at the Empyrean. The venue’s large windows gave a wonderful view of downtown Fort Wayne as guests danced the night away. The couple took some romantic photos underneath a giant flower ring with the stunning evening sky as their backdrop.  This wedding was filled with love, laughter, and celebration. The whole event was breathtaking and a pleasure to photograph.
