Veldina and Ismir and their families and bridal party got ready at their house. The girls’ beautiful hair and makeup was done by none other than Red Stiletto – on-site hair and makeup professionals in Fort Wayne. Veldina was helped into her dress by her mom and each of her bridesmaids helped in their own special way too , whether it was buttoning the sleeves of Veldina’s dress or helping her into her shoes. After everyone was finished getting ready, we went to a location nearby where Veldina and Ismir had their first look. As you can see from the photos below, it was a very sweet and emotional moment.
We headed over to the Bass Mansion on the University of St. Francis Campus for family and bridal photos. We absolutely loved all the laughs and love shared between these two families. After some epic portraits with the beautiful Bass Mansion setting the scenery, we all headed over to Baker’s Street Station for both the ceremony and the reception! As wedding photographers, we love when events for the day are in one place! We feel it helps take stress away from the day because guests and family don’t have to worry about travel as much! After the grand entrance of the bridal party, Veldina entered and the two were married! No matter how many weddings we take photos of, its always the ceremony that reminds us of why we do what we do. Our #1 job is to capture the love and excitement of the day… and we LOVE our job. Veldina and Ismir exchanged some rings, vows, and a kiss! We loved getting to capture these moments.
The reception was a blast! Although most of it was in Bosnian, we still understood the language of love! Everyone in attendance sang, danced, ate cake, and cheered in celebration of Veldina and Ismir’s marriage. What a fun day. Everything about the day was just so genuine and meaningful – You could tell that every detail was thought through and was special to Veldina and Ismir in some way. We loved having the opportunity to capture all the love of Veldina, Ismir, and their friends and families. We wish you guys a long and happy marriage!
