April & Adam // Pokagon State Park

Meet April & Adam! When April called and said I want to have a small intimate wedding ceremony with just close family outside at Pokagon State Park, oh and in the middle of January, and I want to wear a dinosaur costume for the first look…We were like WE ARE SO IN! Pokagon is one of our absolute favorite places regardless of what time of the year it is, it’s actually where Dustin wanted to get married when we were planning our wedding. Most people know about Pokagon state park for it toboggan slide and its incredible inn, the Potawatomi Inn, which overlooks the gorgeous Lake James

So we pulled up to the super romantic site that April and Adam had picked to exchange there vows, and no amount of planning or the epic fire Adam had made could have prepared us for just how cold it really was.  It was -4 degrees you guys, like crazy cant, feel your limbs kinda cold. But I challenge you to find one photo of April where she looks more than slightly cold! She was such a gladiator, we were bundled up with layer upon layer, heck I even had a child in me that was crawling further inside haha.  But regardless of the fridged temperature, we were able to make some amazing photos of these guys and love every minute of it.  Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs. Wolf, and I bet Mexico felt all that much better afterward 🙂
