Brittany & Matt // Fort Wayne Wedding

Brittany and Matt are married! This Fort Wayne wedding was sure a sweet one to capture. Read along to learn more about Brittany and Matt’s wedding day and see our favorite photos…

The day started at the beautiful Hilton Hotel in downtown Fort Wayne. Brittany and all of her bridesmaids and friends got ready in a pretty suite on the sixth floor. Brittany had her hair and makeup done and got all glammed up for the day! Lindsay Neal from the Lola Five Salon did such a beautiful job with Brittany’s hair. After hair and makeup, Brittany got into her gorgeous dress from One Fine Day! While the girls were upstairs getting ready for the day, Matt and his wedding party were hanging out on the floor below. They didn’t want to risk any peeking before the first look after all! After capturing all of the details and getting ready shots, it was time for the first look!

For the first look, we walked across the street to the beautiful Cathedral just a block away. Once Matt was placed and ready, Brittany soon arrived to the location and tapped Matt on the shoulder. Yes, there were lots of smiles and laughs!! It was so sweet. This led into some portrait time with Brittany, Matt, and their wedding party. We took photos in front of the Cathedral, then headed to Foster Park for more photos and family portraits.

After family photos, everyone headed over to Events at the Summit for the ceremony and reception! After guests found their seats, the ceremony began. The wedding party made their way down the aisle and soon Brittany and her dad walked down as well. Brittany and Matt exchanged vows and rings, and did a Bridal Cup ceremony where both drink out of the same cup at the same time! If you’d like to learn a little more about the lore and history of that ceremony, click here (CLICK ME). Brittany and Matt kissed and were officially husband and wife! After the ceremony, guests and family made their way into the reception space for dinner, toasts, and dancing!

This Fort Wayne wedding was a dream and could not have been what it was without Brittany and Matt’s awesome team of wedding vendors. Below is some vendor love! The dinner for the evening was provided by Grants Catering. The beautiful decor was by Linda at Wedding Dreams. The spread of desserts were provided by Hetty Arts Pastry. The Bar services were provided by Licensed Bar Service in Fort Wayne. The floral arrangements from the day were crafted by The Flowerman, an awesome wedding florist out of Centerville Ohio. The ceremony musicians were Devon Carpenter, the Harpist, and company. The chairs were provided by Summit City Rental. The DJ for the evening was Erik from EMS DJ Services – He kept the party moving all night long!

Brittany and Matt’s Fort Wayne wedding was so beautiful and we loved photographing their special day. There was a lot of love shared throughout the day and evening, and we consider ourselves honored to have been chosen to capture it. To the newlyweds, we wish you both happiness and good health as you start this new path of marriage. We love you guys!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
