Cassidy and Thompson are married! These two got married on Cassidy’s family Farm, Ken Dale Farms. This old new venue was amazing. Her family was working on its’ construction every day leading up to the wedding to make sure it was all ready for the big day! Cassidy and her bridesmaids got ready in an adorable bridal suite, a cabin across from the barn over looking the woods. It was so sweet and had everything a person could want for getting ready on their wedding day! After both Cassidy and Thompson were dressed and ready, we set them up for their first look down the hill in the wooded area. These two were all smiles, of course! This led into some portrait time and wedding party photos! After that, Cassidy went back inside the cabin for a first look with her dad. These are some of the sweetest moments to capture on a wedding day. Everyone rested for a little bit, then the ceremony started!

The ceremony was inside the big red barn! It was stunning. There was so much natural light inside and the space was decorated with flowers by Rose’s Bouquets, a wedding only florist in Fort Wayne. After guests found their seats and the wedding party were in their places, the big barn doors opened and Cassidy and her dad walked through. Cassidy and Thompson exchanged vows, rings, and kissed! They were officially married!

After the ceremony, we took family photos! During that time, the dj was playing cocktail hour music. One of the songs just happened to be Cassidy’s parents first dance song at their wedding. They slow danced together so sweetly off to the side. We are so thankful we were able to capture that moment – It was a very memorable moment for us from the day.

Family photos wrapped up pretty quickly, so we were able to have some more portrait time with Cassidy and Thompson! It was the most stunning golden hour. We took them out in the big field across the street and captured some MAGIC. These are seriously some of our favorite photos from Cassidy and Thompson’s big day! After portraits, we took a group photo of everybody at the wedding in front of the beautiful Ken Dale Farm Barn. The rest of the evening was filled with sweet (and hilarious) toasts, lots of dancing, and yummy food. This was such a fun wedding to photograph!

These two were so easy to photograph. All smiles and so much chemistry. It was just such a happy day. Every person in Cassidy’s family contributed so many hours into the construction and finishing touches on the barn, just for their wedding day. It was truly a work of love, and we are super thankful to be the first people to photograph at this sweet historic family farm. To Cassidy and Thompson, we wish you guys a happy marriage with good health and many, many happy memories. We hope you love your wedding photos!
