Hillary and Ethan are hitched! You may remember them from their adorable Indianapolis engagement session – Click here for all those sweet details and photos (CLICK ME). This Indianapolis wedding was one for the books! Food trucks, great wedding party, and loads of fun! Read on for all the details… and photos!
hillary and Ethan’s day started by getting ready at the church, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Hillary and her sisters and bridesmaids laughed all morning while they got ready. Hair? Check. Makeup? Check. Dress? Check. After Hillary’s jewelry, veil, garter, and other accessories were added, her full bridal look was complete! She was ready for their wedding day. We checked in on Ethan and captured some of him getting ready too. At this point, he is ready to see his bride! We took some photos of Ethan with his groomsmen at this time too – The fall colors were awesome! Before the sweet first look with Ethan, Hillary went outside for a first look with her dad. Let us tell you – It was very sweet.
Ethan waited for Hillary by the prettiest red trees outside of the church. Soon enough, Hillary walked up, gave Ethan a hug from behind, and then their eyes met. Nothing but smiles from these two! After some sweet private portraits of these two, we all headed inside for the ceremony! As everyone found their seats, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, and family began to walk down the aisle and find their places. Then Hillary and her dad made their entrance. Arm in arm, they made their way down the aisle where Ethan was waiting. Hillary’s dad gave her away, and the two stood in front of all of their friends and family, said their vows, and kissed! The two were married!
After the ceremony, we headed outside the church for a few more photos then headed to downtown Noblesville for some more! We found some sweet spots for portraits and explored some new places with this awesome group. After photos, we headed to the reception at the Bluffs at Conner Prairie, an awesome Ritz Charles venue! There were fun toasts, amazing food, and some awesome dancing. Did we mention the food? Yeah, it was amazing. At the end of the night, Hillary and Ethan treated guests to a food truck for a late night snack. That was also very tasty!
Capturing this Indianapolis wedding was such a fun experience! We loved working this fun group of people and awesome couple. We hope you enjoy your photos for years to come! We wish you guys all the love and luck on this new shared journey together. Congrats!

Sara & Tim – Mavris Arts Center Wedding
Remember Sara and Tim from their beautiful Indianapolis engagement session? Well if not, click here (CLICK ME) to read up on these two and see all their photos. They got married! We have been itching to share this adorable Marvis Arts Center wedding. Read their about their engagement session first though – You won’t regret it!
The day’s events, were all located at the beautiful and historic Mavris Arts and Event Center in Indianapolis. This industrial 1883 building, now a stellar wedding venue, offers many spaces for getting ready and hosting a wedding, even a rooftop hangout space for guests during cocktail hour. Sara got ready with her close friends and family in the bridal suite while Tim got ready in the “man cave” on the first floor of the event center – Both were awesome spaces. Sara had her hair and makeup done by friends – The whole day was oriented purposely towards the people they love. Sara and Tim didn’t officially have bridesmaids and groomsmen, just friends and family that really know how to have a good time celebrating with them on their wedding day.
When Sara was little, she made a sweet wish that her aunt would make her wedding dress some day. Well, that wish came true! Sara’s aunt made a beautiful blush, tulle dress that fulfilled every bride’s dream of being a princess on her wedding day. After her aunt placed the family coin and lace handkerchief in her dress, Sara put on her dress. She was surrounded once again by all of the people she cares most about in life (except Tim of course – Can’t spoil that first look). After Sara had her wedding dress and jewelry on, Sara and her dad had a sweet first look. His face was priceless.
After this first look and many hugs from friends and family, it was time for Sara and Tim to have their first look. Sara and Tim held hands, back to back to a beam in the beautiful historic venue hall. They turned towards each other and ooh’d and aw’d. Sara did a few twirls for Tim in her dress, they hugged and kissed, then it was portrait time! We captured the two of them in several locations in and around the Marvis and under an over pass where there were cars! These two daredevils were willing to do anything for pictures – It was great!
After some portraits, it was time for the ceremony! After guests were seated, Sara’s dad walked her down the aisle. Sara and Tim met at the front of the aisle, completed a bourbon mixing ceremony, promised to love each other forever, and kissed! Then they throw on some sunglasses and cheered and smiled all down the aisle. It was a scary unique ceremony, special to them as a couple.
After the ceremony, Sara and Tim signed their marriage license, of course. The only people in the room, however were the bride, groom, bartender, and us! So Corynn signed their license as a witness. That was a first for us!
Cocktail hour took place on the beautiful rooftop patio at the Marvis. After a few more pictures, Sara and Tim headed up there to greet all of their guests and hangout. Then everyone headed inside for toast, food, and dancing. The reception was a blast. Here are a few things they did differently to shake up the typical wedding traditions!
1. Instead of garter and bouquet tosses, they raffled off a leg lamp and Beauty and the Beast inspired bouquet – which was absolutely hilarious.
2. Sara and Tim sat a huge table with many of their guests instead of a sweetheart table or with their wedding party.
3. At the end of the day, they just wanted to throw a big party with their friends and family. They wanted a special day with special people – mission accomplished!
This wedding was so much fun. The Mavris staff was amazing: no detail was forgotten and everyone was taken care of wonderfully. This Marvis Art Center Wedding was a blast to capture – We hope you both enjoy these photos for years to come!

If you look closely, you can see a list of family names in the photo on the right. All of the married girls in Sara’s family carried this lace handkerchief and coin with them on their wedding days – what a family tradition!
This is the aunt that made Sara’s dress! How sweet!
Sara and her dad’s first look. The look on his face was the sweetest.
Bourbon ceremony! Sara and Tim added so many personal touches to their wedding day – It was so fun to capture.
Raffle Time! Rather than doing traditional garter and bouquet tosses, Sara and Tim decided instead to auction off a leg lamp and a Beauty and the Beast styled bouquet! How fun… These two made the whole day unique to them as a couple, and it was AWESOME.
End of the night capture of the beautiful Indianapolis Skyline. How awesome is the venue?

Jenna and Wesley’s wedding was so much fun! If you didn’t already know, we know Wesley from high school. If you’d like to learn more about this sweet couple (how they met, how we know them, and how their engagement session went), read this blog (CLICK ME)! You can also look at their engagement photos and see how adorable they are. As we were saying, this Carmel wedding was awesome. The families, the joining of these two awesome people, the sweet Mustang, and fun wedding party. Here’s some highlights and details from Jenna and Wesley’s big day…
Their day started at the beautiful Cornerstone Lutheran Church. This church is super important to them – They met and started a young adults bible study together there. How cool is that? Jenna and her bridesmaids wore comfy robes all morning while they got ready for the day. After their hair and makeup was done, it was time for Jenna to put on her dress! All of Jenna’s bridesmaids gathered around her while her maid of honor helped her into the dress. Jenna’s bridesmaids wore all different styles of navy dresses, all paired with sparkly jewelry! Hair? Check. Makeup? Check. Dress? Check! Once they were all ready and before Jenna and Wesley’s first look, we took the girls outside the church for some photos together. This is where Jenna added all of her final details – jewelry, shoes, and garter!
After Wesley and his groomsmen were ready, he and Jenna had their first look in the sanctuary where they would be married in just a little bit! After exchanging small gifts, Jenna had one more surprise for Wesley. She handed him some keys (see the moment in the photos below) to a super slick, silver convertible GT Mustang. It. Was. Awesome. Needless to say, Wesley loved the surprise. After relaxing for a little bit, it was ceremony time!
This ceremony was especially cool because three of Jenna and Wesley’s family members were involved in it. Wesley’s own dad married them – how cool! One by one, bridesmaids walked down the aisle as well as some super sweet flower girls (also wearing little navy dresses). After everyone was in place, Jenna and her dad walked down the aisle. Meeting eyes, Jenna and Wesley were so, so excited! After saying some super sweet vows and exchanging rings, these two kissed and we’re married! They smiled ear to ear the whole way down the aisle. After the ceremony, they hugged and thanked every one of their guests and family. It was an awesome time. After greeting guests, everyone headed outside to send the couple off… in that awesome mustang.
After driving off, they came back to the church for some photos. We headed inside for some family portraits, but when it came time to capture the wedding party, we headed outside! We took some awesome photos of the wedding party and of the newlyweds – It was a blast! We started at the church then finished off portrait time at some old silos. After photos, it was time for the reception!
The reception was at the beautiful Palomino Ballroom. This venue offered an awesome dance floor, lots of natural light, and plenty of space to entertain guests. The bridal party made their entrance, found their seats, and then it was time to cut the cake! Dinner was served, toasts were said, and there was a lot of dancing – including an awesome dancing train led by the bride herself! After dancing and celebrating with their friends and family, these two had an awesome glow stick exit. As they took off in that sweet mustang, everyone cheered and waved. It was an epic and memorable day with a lot of really awesome people. This Carmel wedding was a blast to photograph! Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding day – Best of luck to the newlyweds!

The last time we worked with Saralyn and Aaron was at their Indianapolis wedding this time last year! These two loved their wedding photos so much that they thought it’d be pretty cool if we did some anniversary ones too! We loved working with this easy going couple again and loved seeing how happy two people can make each other after a whole year of marriage!
These guys drove up to Fort Wayne all the way from Indianapolis for their photos, and we gotta say, they turned out great! When you have a couple in front of your camera as sweet as these two, it’s not hard to capture the love that one year of marriage can bring. We took this down to earth couple to Metea Park in Fort Wayne for their anniversary session. With so many sweet spots in one place, we got to have some major fun! Saralyn and Aaron walked through the woods and brush, trucked through tall grass fields, and even got in the pond for photos! To say we had fun is an understatement! Being an Indianapolis wedding photographer gave us the awesome opportunity to meet this couple and work with them twice in one year! We love our job.

Meet Saralyn & Aaron! These two were so fun to work with. We love Indianapolis weddings, so we jump at the chance to shoot them! When Saralyn and Aaron reached out to us to do their wedding photography, we were pumped! If you would like to view their entire wedding gallery, click here (CLICK ME)! At the end of this post is Saralyn and Aaron’s wedding video done by Big Burrito Creative. Give it a listen!
Saralyn and her bridal party got ready in the morning at home! When it came time to put on her dress, Saralyn’s mom buttoned her in. The delicate lace details and cap-sleeve style of dress (paired with leather boots and a long, high pony tail) matched Saralyn’s sweet and fierce personality perfectly. After getting ready, Saralyn and Aaron had an EPIC first look. What made it even better was the fact that they included both their dogs in it! The sweet embrace and love shared between these two was so fun to capture. The whole day just felt light and easy and natural – everything was personalized and unique to Saralyn and Aaron! Of course, we also took some bridal party shots after the first look. Then we headed to the ceremony spot!
The ceremony and reception were held at Blu Falls Arts and Event Center in Indianapolis. We love when wedding day events are at the same location: less stress for the bride! Not that stress was a problem for Saralyn – She was nothing but happy on this big day! The ceremony location was stunning. The covered wooden platform overlooked a beautiful brook with rocks and lots of greenary. The whole thing was decked out with gorgeous floral arrangements and dreamy white fabric. The cozy location made it an even more romantic spot to get married! And just like that, the two were married!
The reception was just inside from the ceremony location – awesome! Family and guests found their way to their seats and then entered the newly weds! Saralyn and Aaron shared lots of dances, sweet moments with family, and lots laughs. The day included lots of dogs, a golf cart ride or two, and a marriage that is surely to last a lifetime. We loved having the opportunity to capture this awesome day for you guys. Best of wishes to you both!

Here is their beautiful wedding video by Big Burrito Creative!
Meet Jane & Jim! From the moment we met with Jim and Jane over coffee we knew we had to photograph their wedding. And It had nothing to do with the budget, or venue, however, I think you can tell by the photos that the Indianapolis Artsgarden is pretty fricking spectacular! The reason we knew that Jim and Jane had to join the roster of Dustin & Corynn brides and grooms was that they were authentic and crazy in love with each other, oh and they LOVE to laugh which is huge for Dustin because he thinks he is funny.
Jane & Jim’s wedding day went off without a hitch. We started the day at the Westin downtown Indianapolis where the ladies had gotten a hotel room to get all there hairs in place and their make up just right. But the best part was when Jane slipped into her dress and walked out into the room for all of her favorite people to see her for the first time. We then headed to Saint Peter & Paul Catholic church where these two lovebirds tied the knot. They then hopped on a trolley and off to downtown Indy we went. After an amazing time taking photos of these lovebirds, we arrived at our new favorite venue, Indianapolis Artsgarden! You may have walked through it or under it and didn’t even know. It is a giant glass dome in the middle of downtown Indianapolis intersection that is like five or six stories up off the ground, that on any ordinary day is just a public area connected to the circle center mall downtown.
Jim & Jane you guys were and continue to be such amazing people both inside and out. I’m not going to lie we both got a bit choked up during all the heartwarming toasts that were given in your honor. I hope once life settles with your new house and the honeymoon we can hang out.
And in case you missed their engagement session, it was equally awesome!
