As we kick off another year of capturing love stories, Lucy and Zach’s elegantly minimalistic Indianapolis wedding day was a great start to the year. Throughout our time as wedding photographers, we’ve seen a lot of couples in love, and Lucy and Zach were just that. Their love and connection is so strong, and made the day that much better. Being Indiana wedding photographers, we love working with locals just like these two! Although the weather was a little cold these two were great sports and braved the crazy temperatures.
First Look with Lucy’s Dad
Up first on this minimalistic Indianapolis wedding was a first look with Lucy’s Dad. First looks are always incredible emotional, and this one was just that. The look of pride and joy on Lucy’s father’s face was evident and something so sweet. As parents ourselves, these are moments that are so bittersweet! We love being apart of them, but aren’t in any hurry to experience them ourselves! Luckily our kids are super young – so we’ve got some time to prepare! Nevertheless, we always love when our couples create moments like this for their parents. Next, was Lucy and Zach’s special moment.
First Touch at Minimalistic Indianapolis Wedding
Lucy and Zach are college sweethearts, having met at Purdue University, so this was a long awaited day for the couple. Instead of a traditional first look, the two decided to share a simple first touch. They wouldn’t see one another until they walked down the aisle, but were able to have a few moments together before their life-changing event took place! If a first look isn’t your vibe on your day, consider a first touch! We’ll stage you in a way so you won’t see one another until you’re ready, but you’ll get those special moments together.
An Elegant Affair
Later, it was time for the couple’s elegant ceremony. Zach was emotional as he saw Lucy walk down the aisle in her wedding dress. Lucy was all smiles, as she walked towards her soon to be husband. It was a beautiful day! After they said, “I do” we took the couple and the bridal party outside for some bridal party portraits! We were able to get some fun pictures before their evening reception. Lucy and Zach shared an intimate cake cutting, and later danced, Lucy with her dad, and Zach with his mom! After some fun, the couple had guests help with a sparkler exit as they left as husband and wife!

One of my favorite things about being an Indianapolis wedding photographer is getting to shoot at some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area. And this Bluffs at Conner Prairie winter wedding was no exception! The venue features a gorgeous vaulted ceiling with dark beams and tall windows. Making it the perfect indoor winter wedding venue for any couple, but especially Sarah and Mitchell! Their wedding day will be one I never forget.

Winter Wedding Inspiration
Sarah and Mitchell were married in February, which can be pretty cold in Indiana. But luckily, the weather was incredible for a late winter wedding! Leaning into the winter aesthetic with their decor and invitations, the couple opted for a deep burgundy and light pink color palette. This worked beautifully with their church ceremony and The Bluff at Conner Prairie winter wedding reception.

Because the weather was so perfect for a winter wedding, we were able to go outside to capture Sarah and Mitchell’s bridals. Working with the architecture and landscaping is something I love to do with all of my couples! It is a way to feature your wedding venue and the details that you fell in love with. Making your wedding album even more sentimental with every picture!

The Bluffs At Conner Prairie Winter Wedding Reception
This wedding reception was so lovely. Sarah and Mitchell tied in their color palette into their custom place cards, two tier wedding cake, and every other detail you could imagine! Everything tied in so seamlessly with their venue. This Bluffs at Conner Prairie winter wedding was traditional, classy and so timeless.

One of my favorite parts of the night has to have been Sarah and Mitchell’s first dance as husband and wife. Their tender love and connection with each other really shines through on the dance floor. It’s moments like these that make me even more grateful and honored to be part of my couples wedding days. It really is a privilege to capture moments like these.

Congratulation Sarah and Mitchell!
Cheers!
-Dustin & Corynn

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Vincent Maggioli! Olivia & Vince’s Conner Prairie wedding was full of glam, love, and a lot of laughter. We had the best day celebrating these two, and cannot wait to share more with you!
Olivia & her bridesmaids started the morning by getting ready at the Prairie Guest House. This venue is awesome and offers a bed and breakfast right across the street from the reception hall! Olivia and her girls had matching custom shirts with Olivia & Vince’s wedding date on them, matching shorts, and matching shoes – how adorable! They changed into their gorgeous dresses for the day, and off we went to the church, where we captured photos of Vince and his groomsmen!
Their beautiful ceremony was held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana. This church was absolutely breathtaking! Olivia & Vince’s parents and wedding party made their way down the aisle, followed by Olivia’s cousin, the most adorable ring bearer. Then, it was time for Olivia and her dad to make the walk together! They began walking down the aisle, and Vince cried while seeing his soon-to-be wife for the first time. It was so sweet – we all had tears in our eyes!
Through their ceremony, they partook in their first communion as husband and wife, exchanged vows, and placed their wedding bands on each other’s hands. They kissed and were pronounced husband and wife! We stuck around to take family photos at the church, along with some gorgeous veil photos outside the church. Then, the wedding party hopped on a party bus! We met them in downtown Carmel to capture more wedding party photos and couple portraits. Talk about a sharply dressed wedding party – check out the stunning colors and Olivia’s insanely gorgeous dress!
It was then time for their reception, held at The Bluffs at Conner Prairie. Guests arrived and enjoyed passed hors-d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. Then, Olivia & Vince made their grand entrance! They cut their delicious hummingbird-flavored wedding cake, and then, dinner was served. After dinner, it was time for toasts! Olivia’s dad welcomed and thanked everyone, followed by Olivia’s maid of honor’s sweet speech, and then Vince’s best man’s awesome speech.
Then, it was time for dancing! Olivia & Vince shared a lovely first dance. After they danced, it was Olivia and her dad’s turn. They started dancing to their song, and then the music switched to Renegade, and everyone in the venue pulled out Terrible Towels and started waving them around! Olivia and her family are huge Pittsburgh Steelers fans, so this was such a special moment for them. Then, Vince and his mom shared a beautiful dance. The DJ shared Olivia & Vince’s amazing love story, and then, it was time to party!
Their dance floor was on fire the whole night, and they even did a traditional Polka bridal dance. They had an awesome photobooth backdrop with an LED name sign and some delicious donuts for dessert! They even had late-night snacks! Before the night was over, Olivia & Vince had a streamer exit. It made for some epic photos!
Olivia & Vince’s Conner Prairie wedding was fantastic. We are so honored they chose us to capture their big day. We wish them all the best as they start their married life in Boston!
Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Christina and Rachel are married! Our awesome associate team captured their wedding day on 10/10/20 (a very popular and awesome date of this wedding season). They did awesome! Read on to learn more details from this stunning 3 Fat Labs (IG: 3fatlabs) wedding and see our favorite photos…
Christina and Rachel’s entire wedding day was held at 3 Fat Labs, a gorgeous new barn wedding venue in Greencastle Indiana, just west of Indianapolis. This venue has it all – multiple getting ready suites, a two story reception area with a balcony over looking the main reception space. Christina and her bridesmaids got ready in the bridal suite on the property, just across the path from the venue. Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready in the basement of the venue. After everyone was dressed and ready, we set up Rachel and Christina for a first look with each other. It was so sweet! Lots of happy tears for sure.
After Christina and Rachel’s first look, Christina had two more first looks with her dad and step dad. Queue more happy tears, and some held back tears too. Before guests arrived and before the ceremony started, we took Christina, Rachel, and their bridesmaids out for some wedding party photos in front of the stunning venue! They even popped some celebratory champagne and cheered. After some wedding party photos, we did family parent photos, then headed to a college campus near by for some portraits of just the soon to be newly weds! Even though we didn’t get to see them, our associates got to see one of our past Dustin & Corynn couples, Kayleen and Rob! (You can see their awesome wedding day here CLICK ME.)
Guests arrived to the venue and found their seats, then it was ceremony time! Just before the ceremony, Christina really wanted to see and talk to her grandparents, so her and Rachel facetimed them to say hi. They really wanted to be there, but they decided it wouldn’t be safe for them. After this sweet call, the ceremony officially began. Bridesmaids one by one made their way down the aisle, then the officiant, then Rachel! NEst was Christina’s turn. She and her dad entered into the reception hall and walked down the aisle towards Rachel. Rachel and Christina exchanged rings, some super sweet vows, and kissed. They were officially wife and wife!
After the ceremony, we knocked out all the family portraits on the back patio (a gorgeous space with market lights, over looking a peak autumn woods). During cocktail hour, guests headed up stairs while the awesome staff at 3 Fat Labs flipped the ceremony space into an awesome reception space. After some great toasts, first dances, and an awesome dinner (probably the best wedding food we ever had), the reception rocked all evening long. Everyone had an amazing time celebrating Christina and Rachel, and their sweet love for each other. Also, shoutout to Isaac Herman (IG: @IsaacHerman) for capturing an awesome wedding video for these two and Wright Entertainment (IG: @wrightentertainment) for keeping the party going all night long!
This 3 Fat Labs wedding was stunning! The fall colors were at their peak, the venue was perfect, and Christina and Rachel were the best to work with. Our associate team did such an awesome job capturing their wedding day – We are so excited to share our favorite photos! Here at Dustin and Corynn, we all wish you both a happy and healthy marriage and life together. Love you both!
Cheers

Rachel and Patrick are married! You might remember these two from their epic lake James engagement session over the summer. If not, click here to learn more about Rachel and Patrick and see some of their beautiful engagement photos (CLICK ME)! Now that you’ve seen their engagement blog, then it’s time to hear all about their beautiful Fountain Square Theatre wedding…
The day started at a gorgeous, newly renovated airbnb! When we pulled up to the house, we were absolutely shocked… The home was just recently renovated and restored by HGTV’s Good Bones. Corynn literally saw that house on TV earlier in the week. It was such a one-of-a-kind experience and a huge surprise. We spent some time capturing Rachel getting into her dress and adding final details of jewelry and shoes, then photographed the sweetest first look with her bridesmaids. Then we all headed to the beautiful Saint Joan of Arc Church near Butler’s campus for the ceremony!
While Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready at that sweet airbnb, Patrick and his groomsmen got ready at the Church. Patrick wore these awesome boots and had a special pocket watch to wear with his suit throughout the day. When he was finished getting ready, we set Rachel and Patrick up in a sweet stained glass room in the church so they could read their letters to each other (with no peeking), then everyone waited for the ceremony to begin!
The ceremony was so sweet. Once guests found their seats, the groomsmen made their way to their places and family and bridesmaids walked down the aisle. Before we knew it, Rachel and her dad were making their way down the aisle towards Patrick. Needless to say, Patrick’s face was nothing but pure joy! The ceremony commenced, and Rachel and Patrick were officially husband and wife! After the ceremony, we snapped some family photos at the church. Since church is very important to both Rachel and Patrick, we made sure to allow for plenty of time for photos inside and outside of the church. After capturing the newlyweds there, we headed to the Holcomb Gardens on Butler’s campus where we took fun photos on a bridge and got some epic veil shots. Rachel and Patrick memorialized their covid-19 wedding with two Corona beers! It was awesome!
After portrait time, everyone headed to the insanely beautiful Fountain Square Theatre for the reception! The historic theatre had been fully restored and the ceiling had been painted to look like the sky. Walking into the space, you can’t help but feel like you’re in Italy! There were toasts, first dances, and a very special dance by our bride and groom which was by far the biggest highlight from the wedding day. Rachel and Patrick changed clothes and recreated the classic dancing scene in the finale of Dirty Dancing. It was so memorable and fun! Guests and family danced the night away and spent the evening laughing, sharing, and celebrating Rachel and Patrick’s awesome new union.
Rachel and Patrick’s entire wedding day was picture perfect and so sweet and fun. They truly made our jobs easy (and made the day so memorable)! It was our first time at the Fountain Square Theatre in Indianapolis, and we hope it’s not our last. Thank you guys for choosing us to capture your most special day. We hope to work with you guys in the future and capturing more memories for you guys! Best wishes on your new journey of marriage.
Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Hillary and Ethan are hitched! You may remember them from their adorable Indianapolis engagement session – Click here for all those sweet details and photos (CLICK ME). This Indianapolis wedding was one for the books! Food trucks, great wedding party, and loads of fun! Read on for all the details… and photos!
hillary and Ethan’s day started by getting ready at the church, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Hillary and her sisters and bridesmaids laughed all morning while they got ready. Hair? Check. Makeup? Check. Dress? Check. After Hillary’s jewelry, veil, garter, and other accessories were added, her full bridal look was complete! She was ready for their wedding day. We checked in on Ethan and captured some of him getting ready too. At this point, he is ready to see his bride! We took some photos of Ethan with his groomsmen at this time too – The fall colors were awesome! Before the sweet first look with Ethan, Hillary went outside for a first look with her dad. Let us tell you – It was very sweet.
Ethan waited for Hillary by the prettiest red trees outside of the church. Soon enough, Hillary walked up, gave Ethan a hug from behind, and then their eyes met. Nothing but smiles from these two! After some sweet private portraits of these two, we all headed inside for the ceremony! As everyone found their seats, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, and family began to walk down the aisle and find their places. Then Hillary and her dad made their entrance. Arm in arm, they made their way down the aisle where Ethan was waiting. Hillary’s dad gave her away, and the two stood in front of all of their friends and family, said their vows, and kissed! The two were married!
After the ceremony, we headed outside the church for a few more photos then headed to downtown Noblesville for some more! We found some sweet spots for portraits and explored some new places with this awesome group. After photos, we headed to the reception at the Bluffs at Conner Prairie, an awesome Ritz Charles venue! There were fun toasts, amazing food, and some awesome dancing. Did we mention the food? Yeah, it was amazing. At the end of the night, Hillary and Ethan treated guests to a food truck for a late night snack. That was also very tasty!
Capturing this Indianapolis wedding was such a fun experience! We loved working this fun group of people and awesome couple. We hope you enjoy your photos for years to come! We wish you guys all the love and luck on this new shared journey together. Congrats!
Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
