Emily and Zach are married! You may remember these guys from their beautiful Purdue University engagement session, but if not, check them out here (CLICK ME)! Okay… Now that you’ve seen their engagement photos, please enjoy reading about all the sweet, memorable moments from their White Rose Event Center Wedding day! Also, make sure to check out some of our favorite photos below.
Emily and Zach are seriously one of the cutest couples we’ve ever met. They were so genuine and so goofy and sweet. It was a blast capturing their wedding day! We met up with them at the beautiful White Rose Event center, one of the most beautiful barn venues in the area. It was a very warm, beautiful summer day – It could not have been prettier! The girls got ready at a family home, where they shared mimosas and laughs. Once at the venue, the girls headed inside the getting ready house. This is where Emily put on her dress! Her mom and Zach’s mom helped her – It was super sweet. From there, Emily headed into another room to do a first look with her dad, then headed outside so her bridesmaids and sisters could see her full bridal look!
Zach and his groomsmen got ready inside the reception space, where they hung out and prepared for the fun day ahead. Then it was finally time for Emily and Zach’s first look. They met under a beautiful tree near the venue over looking the fields and beautiful property of White Rose. After an incredibly emotional and sweet first look, we took some portraits of these two and their bridal party, then got ready for the ceremony! The ceremony was outside the venue near the edge of the property. There was beautiful arch way covered in flowers and greenery behind Emily and Zach. The two exchanged vows, rings, and kissed! And just like that, after years of waiting, they were officially husband and wife! Now it was time to party.
The reception was great! So many laughs and and moments to capture. The toasts at this wedding probably set the bar for the most incredible surprise we’ve ever witnessed. Two years before the wedding the groom and the bride‘s grandmother write her a letter that he sealed and kept secret until the wedding day. The brides father read it aloud not leaving a dry eye in the house as we heard her deceased grandmother‘s words. It meant so much to her. Not gonna lie, we might have shed a tear or two. It was really one of sweetest moments to witness on their wedding day.
This wedding was super special to us because not only did we get to capture Emily and Zach’s wedding and families, but we also got to see quite a few of our past and future couples! We got to catch up with 2 of our past couples and 1 upcoming couple that we are photographing this year. Including Emily and Zach, that makes 4 Dustin and Corynn brides and grooms at a single wedding – That’s a record!
We loved getting to capture this amazingly sweet wedding day. The White Rose was decked out to perfection, and Emily and Zach were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for trusting us to capture the memories and moments of your wedding day – We love you guys!

Sara and Ian are married! You may remember this sweet couple from their fun carnival engagement, but if not you can read all about that here (CLICK ME). You can learn a little bit about these two and see their engagement photos! We loved photographing this sweet Roanoke Indiana Wedding. Read on to see all of the magic and sweet moments of their wedding day!
The first time we photographed Sara and Ian, it was WAY too cold. We were all bundled up and numb to the core! During that session, Sara and Ian decided to make it a mini session, and we would continue the session on a warmer day! The second time we photographed them, it was way too hot. in fact, there was a heat advisory across northeast Indiana! But on their wedding day, the weather could not have been more perfect. It was sunny and pleasantly chilly with a breeze. Okay, it was a little more than breezy, but really, it was a beautiful fall day. We even got a stellar sunset at the end of the night!
Sara got ready with all the special ladies in her life! What we loved about this girl squad was just how helpful all of her bridesmaids were. One would be ready to put the veil in while another was ready with a can of hair spray and bobby pins. There was nothing but support coming from these awesome ladies! After getting into her dress, Sara was helped with all of her accessories and final details. We headed outside for some bridesmaids photos than waited for the ceremony!
While the girls were getting ready, Ian and his guys changed into some suits and were ready for the day! After getting ready, we took the groomsmen outside for some more photos, then it was time for the ceremony!
Bridesmaids walked down the aisle one by one after guests were seated in the pews. Next came the sweet ring bearer, then Sara and her dad. Ian was just in awe of his bride. After some vows and the exchange of rings, Sara and Ian were married! They kissed and happily went down the aisle.
After the ceremony and family portraits concluded, we headed to downtown Roanoke which was adorned with mums and fall colors. Portrait time with this group was fun and easy – It was just such a pleasant day and great group of people to work with. We then headed over to the reception at the Charles of Fort Wayne, a beautiful and newly renovated wedding venue.
These two followed some sweet traditions of cake cutting and first dances. Some toasts were given and friends and family danced the whole night long. This wedding was fun, easy going, and really sweet to witness. We loved capturing this Roanoke Indiana Wedding. We hope you both live happily ever after and enjoy your photos for years to come!

Abby and Weston are married! Wow, what a fun wedding. You know those weddings where everyone is super relaxed, and just happy to be around those they love? Well, that was exactly how these two were! We had a blast photographing this wedding, but before you read on and see their wedding photos, you have to read about their awesome engagement session with us! You can see all of their engagement photos, learn a little bit about these two, learn how they met, and how we met them all right here on our blog! Click here to see for yourself (CLICK ME)!
Abby and Weston’s day began by getting ready with their friends and family at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. The church had awesome getting ready rooms, perfect for wedding day prep! When it was time, Abby’s mom and super awesome bridesmaids helped her into her wedding dress and added all the final details: veil, jewelry, and garters! Before the ceremony, we took some photos outside of the church: Abby with her bridesmaids and Weston with his groomsmen. Not at the same time, however, because these two wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other. How sweet! After capturing some photos of this awesome group of people, it was ceremony time!
These two had a very joyous wedding – There were lots of laughs, smiles, and a lighthearted fun in the room during the ceremony. It was really a celebration! After these two tied the knot, it was time for more photos – yay! We took photos with, you guessed it, a shiny, new, John Deere Tractor! We absolutely adored using it in Abby and Weston’s photos – It just fit their personalities and roots so much! After photos, everyone hopped on the party bus and headed to the reception!
The reception was at the Mirage Banquet Hall, a large venue in Decatur, Indiana equipped with a full bar, in-house catering, and an awesome atmosphere. Abby and Weston danced with friends and family, laughed at several toasts, and enjoyed their wedding day to the fullest. We’re so excited to share this awesome couple and their wedding photos. Congratulations, you two! We wish you a happy marriage!

P.s. A John Deere Tractor is the perfect accessory for any bride on her wedding day!
Samantha and Josh are married! It was a beautiful fall day for a wedding. Everything about their big day was calm, fun, and unique to them as a family. Here are some more details about their special day and photos to match! Just wait until you see pictures of their adorable 1 year old son…
The whole day was at Pokagon State Park and the beautiful Potawatomi Inn on Lake James. The trees were already turning colors and the air was chilly – perfect weather for Samatha! She didn’t want a hot wedding day. Samantha was one of the best brides we’ve had the pleasure to work with – laid back, not worried about every detail of the day, and just happy to be around the people she loves. That said, we thought it was so special when Samantha got excited about her wedding dress. She LOVED it. It was sweet to see her “bride out” about this one-of-kind detail! After getting ready and spending some time with her bridesmaids and adorable flower girl, Samantha and Josh had there first look (in the beautiful autumn woods, of course). It was as sweet as it can get folks, especially when they brought their 1-year old son Liam into the moment. Gah. This made us miss our babies that were with our family for the day!
After a super sweet first look and some bridal party photos, it was ceremony time! These guys got married on the patio of the Potawatomi Inn overlooking the lake – It was beautiful. After Samantha walked down the aisle, she and Josh completed a sand ceremony to symbolize their unity in marriage. The two kissed and were married! We shot some family portraits after the ceremony than took Samantha and Josh for the most epic sunset portrait on the dock. It was chilly, but these two persevered and stuck with us! What happened next? Reception time!
Once everyone was seated in the reception hall at the Inn, Samantha, Josh, and their bridal party made their entrances! There were succulent themed cupcakes and little succulent wedding favors for guests – they were so cute! The night included sweet toasts, yummy cake (the kids were very excited about that), and a lot of dancing (the kids were also very excited about this). We loved having the opportunity to capture all of the moments of your wedding day. We wish you guys the happiest marriage!

Taylor and Cory are married! You may remember them from their awesome engagement session with us a while back – You can read all about our fun time with them here (CLICK ME)! Taylor is a fellow wedding photographer! When she asked us to shoot their own wedding, we were ecstatic! Working with another photographer is just the best, especially when they are on the other side of the camera for a change.
Taylor and Cory have a special family connection to the lake. Lake Wawasee in Syracuse Indiana was the location for both their engagement session and their wedding! These two started the day getting ready at Taylor’s family lake home. Everything was so pretty and cozy! Taylor and her girls had her condo, while the guys got ready at the Ford estate. The girls shared laughs and some yummy mimosas. After the final getting ready touches were complete, Taylor put on her dress! She was helped in the beautiful a-line dress from Anthropologie. Taylor and Cory had a smaller bridal party, but they were as awesome as ever.
After getting ready, Taylor and Cory their first look in the beautiful woods around the lake. Cory was in complete awe at the beauty of his bride! Because of the smaller wedding party, we had plenty of time for photos of just Taylor and Cory! After a little walking and photo taking, we found a little bench where the two exchanged gifts. Taylor was given a beautiful ring with their wedding date engraved on it. Cory was given cufflinks with his initials on them. After a few more pictures of these two, it was ceremony time! The ceremony was under a beautiful covered pavilion decorated with fall accents for the wedding. Taylor walked down the aisle with her dad (so did their adorable pup) and Taylor and Cory were married! The ceremony was followed by family and bridal party photos. Then it was party time!
The reception was on the S.S. Lillypad, a sweet banquet hall on the waters of Lake Wawasee! There were home videos shown, touching toasts made, and lots of loved shared. This boat was filled with nothing but happiness for Taylor and Cory. The night ended in s’mores and a cozy fire. We had such a fun time with Taylor, Cory, and their friends and family. Thank you for trusting us with your big day! Best of wishes to you guys.

Meet April & Adam! When April called and said I want to have a small intimate wedding ceremony with just close family outside at Pokagon State Park, oh and in the middle of January, and I want to wear a dinosaur costume for the first look…We were like WE ARE SO IN! Pokagon is one of our absolute favorite places regardless of what time of the year it is, it’s actually where Dustin wanted to get married when we were planning our wedding. Most people know about Pokagon state park for it toboggan slide and its incredible inn, the Potawatomi Inn, which overlooks the gorgeous Lake James
So we pulled up to the super romantic site that April and Adam had picked to exchange there vows, and no amount of planning or the epic fire Adam had made could have prepared us for just how cold it really was. It was -4 degrees you guys, like crazy cant, feel your limbs kinda cold. But I challenge you to find one photo of April where she looks more than slightly cold! She was such a gladiator, we were bundled up with layer upon layer, heck I even had a child in me that was crawling further inside haha. But regardless of the fridged temperature, we were able to make some amazing photos of these guys and love every minute of it. Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs. Wolf, and I bet Mexico felt all that much better afterward 🙂
