Freddie & Hailey are officially husband & wife! This beautiful, intimate Lakeside Occasions wedding was truly a gem. We loved being part of their most important day, and can’t wait to share more with you…
Lakeside Occasions was absolutely beautiful. The venue is the ultimate rustic, secluded barn wedding spot! It was a perfect place for Hailey & Freddie to celebrate their love. Their day started out with the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready in the most unique spots. Our bride and her bridesmaids got ready in the silo, which looked exactly like Rapunzel’s tower! It was magical. Then, our groom and his groomsmen got ready in a 50s style diner. This was so awesome! To calm any nerves before the wedding, they played some games of pool, too. We loved the unique photo opportunities these spots presented!
After we captured photos of Hailey with her bridesmaids and Freddie with his groomsmen, it was time for the two to be wed! Everyone took their places in the stunning outdoor setting. Despite the intense heat, Hailey & Freddie had a lovely outdoor ceremony at the gazebo, which faced the lake! The venue grounds were just gorgeous. Our couple made their forever promise to each other, kissed, and were pronounced husband and wife!
Following the ceremony, we walked around to a few different spots on the property to photograph Hailey & Freddie with their wedding party and their families. This wedding party was such a fun bunch! They made photos fantastic. We then continued taking photos of our newly married couple. The venue had great spots for pictures such as the barn, silo, and an adorable bridge!
Once we had taken photos of our couple, we headed inside the venue to party! They served a delicious dinner which included amazing cupcakes of about 10 different flavors for dessert! Hailey & Freddie cut their wedding cake, danced together for the first time as husband and wife, and did the sweet father-daughter and mother-son dances. They also played the hilarious shoe game! These two are truly a blast. Then, it was party time! Hailey & Freddie had a great dance floor turnout, which made the night one to remember. Before the night was over, we took our couple back outside to take those romantic sunset photos!
Hailey & Freddie’s Lakeside Occasions wedding was truly an honor to capture. We are so happy for these two, and wish them all the best as they start their new marriage!

Our couple Greg & Brian officially tied the knot! These two had a beautiful Oakwood Resort wedding. We were so happy to be part of it, and are so excited to share the photos with you…
We were psyched to see these two again after their West Central engagement session. This Lake Wawasee wedding had been long-awaited. They are such a great couple, and we love being with them! They were married at Oakwood Resort, which offered an awesome space for getting ready. Everyone hung out and got ready for the big day together! Then, it was time to be wed.
The two were married by Greg’s childhood best friend, who wore a killer white jumpsuit! It was so special for them to be married by someone near and dear to their hearts. Greg & Brian had an unusual and super fun request – they invited all of the females to wear white! Since women are never allowed to wear white to a wedding, they thought it’d be fun to allow everyone to wear the usually forbidden color.
Both Greg & Brian hail from families of four sons. Thus, Greg’s side of the wedding party included his three brothers, and so did Brian’s, minus one. One of Brian’s brothers is in the military and was unable to attend, but thanks to technology, they were able to FaceTime him in so he could join in the celebration!
During the ceremony, Greg & Brian read their vows to one another and then exchanged rings. Then, they kissed, and were officially married! Following the ceremony, we captured photos of our grooms, their wedding party, and their families. Lake Wawasee offered such a great, natural spot for photos.
Then, it was time for toasts, food, and dancing. Their reception was held on the property underneath a gorgeous clear tent. It’s officially our favorite setting now! The lighting was exceptional under the tent. Plus, they had adorable string lights stretching from one end of the tent to the other. It gave the whole space such a cool effect! The dance floor was outside the tent in an open setting. They again strung lights over the dance floor, adding some flair and ambiance! During Brian’s mother-son dance, his mom was very emotional, and made us tear up! It was the sweetest, most heartfelt moment.
We lucked out with great weather all day. The sky was overcast and the temperatures were cool, making for a really enjoyable time. Toward the end of the reception, we took Greg & Brian out to do more photos. Once again, the lake was an awesome spot to capture those stunning night photos – just look at the pictures! We captured our couple by the glistening lake and under the romantic tent lighting.
It’s a small world after all – the same day Greg & Brian got married, our couple Kylie & Drake also got married. While we had to split up for these weddings, so did the guests! Brian and Drake were in residency together and invited many of the same friends, so guests had to split their time.
Greg & Brian were so easy to work with and such a joy to be around. We were so honored to be part of their Oakwood Resort wedding and wish them well as they begin their marriage together!

Amanda and Grant are married! It was a beautiful day full of love and lots of awesome people. Per usual, COVID-19 messed up original plans for these two’s wedding day. Despite this, Amanda and Grant made the most of it and had a beautiful wedding!! We are so excited to share photos from this Big Long Lake Wedding! Read on for more of these two…
Amanda and Grant’s wedding day started at the South Milford Church of Christ. Once Amanda was completely ready, we took her and her beautiful bridesmaids outside for some photos. We were also able to knock out some family photos! Amanda and her bridesmaids went inside to rest before the ceremony, then we grabbed Grant and his groomsmen for some photos of the guys! Their light gray suits looked awesome! Before we knew it, it was time for the much anticipated ceremony.
The ceremony was so sweet. Amanda and Grant saw each other for the first time while Amanda walked down the aisle, so you can imagine the emotions. Oh wait… you don’t have to imagine – There are photos to show it! The pictures of these sweet moments really sum up the emotions of the entire day: overwhelming happiness and excitement! Amanda and Grant exchanged vows, rings, completed a sand ceremony, and kissed. The two were officially husband and wife!
After the ceremony, we finished up any remaining family photos outside the church, then headed over to Big Long Lake for wedding party portraits! It was so golden at the time for photos and we were loving it – We were able to capture such a fun veil shot! Portrait time was funny, sweet, and so romantic. We couldn’t over these two and the gorgeous scenery of the lake. Golden hour also contributed to the awesomeness!
After portrait time, we headed back to the church for the reception. The reception originally was supposed to be somewhere else, but because of COVID, the church offered a better solution for guest space! There were funny toasts, a yummy breakfast dinner, and so much dancing. These two and their families, made the most out of COVID wedding, that’s for sure! It was a blast.
We loved capturing Amanda and Grant’s Big Long Lake wedding. It was the sweetest day and so anticipated! To Amanda and Grant, we hope you two enjoy life together and make the most out of everyday together. Thank you for trusting us to capture your big day! Love you guys!

Cassidy and Thompson are married! These two got married on Cassidy’s family Farm, Ken Dale Farms. This old new venue was amazing. Her family was working on its’ construction every day leading up to the wedding to make sure it was all ready for the big day! Read on to learn more about this sweet family farm wedding and see our favorite photos…
Cassidy and her bridesmaids got ready in an adorable bridal suite, a cabin across from the barn over looking the woods. It was so sweet and had everything a person could want for getting ready on their wedding day! After both Cassidy and Thompson were dressed and ready, we set them up for their first look down the hill in the wooded area. These two were all smiles, of course! This led into some portrait time and wedding party photos! After that, Cassidy went back inside the cabin for a first look with her dad. These are some of the sweetest moments to capture on a wedding day. Everyone rested for a little bit, then the ceremony started!
The ceremony was inside the big red barn! It was stunning. There was so much natural light inside and the space was decorated with flowers by Rose’s Bouquets, a wedding only florist in Fort Wayne. After guests found their seats and the wedding party were in their places, the big barn doors opened and Cassidy and her dad walked through. Cassidy and Thompson exchanged vows, rings, and kissed! They were officially married!
After the ceremony, we took family photos! During that time, the dj was playing cocktail hour music. One of the songs just happened to be Cassidy’s parents first dance song at their wedding. They slow danced together so sweetly off to the side. We are so thankful we were able to capture that moment – It was a very memorable moment for us from the day.
Family photos wrapped up pretty quickly, so we were able to have some more portrait time with Cassidy and Thompson! It was the most stunning golden hour. We took them out in the big field across the street and captured some MAGIC. These are seriously some of our favorite photos from Cassidy and Thompson’s big day! After portraits, we took a group photo of everybody at the wedding in front of the beautiful Ken Dale Farm Barn. The rest of the evening was filled with sweet (and hilarious) toasts, lots of dancing, and yummy food. This was such a fun wedding to photograph!
These two were so easy to photograph. All smiles and so much chemistry. It was just such a happy day. Every person in Cassidy’s family contributed so many hours into the construction and finishing touches on the barn, just for their wedding day. It was truly a work of love, and we are super thankful to be the first people to photograph at this sweet historic family farm. To Cassidy and Thompson, we wish you guys a happy marriage with good health and many, many happy memories. We hope you love your wedding photos!

Swan Lake was a beautiful backdrop for this gorgeous wedding. Kayla and Ben started off their mornings in some of the beautiful suites at the resort, Kayla and her girls in the bridal suite and Ben with his guys in another suite. While the guys hung out and relaxed, Kayla and her bridal party spent the morning getting their hair and makeup was done by the awesome Red Stiletto Artistry out of Fort Wayne. They are the best on-site makeup and hair team ever! Before getting dressed, the girls popped some bubbly on the patio – It was so cute! Once everyone was ready, Kayla did a super sweet first look with her dad. These are always some of the sweetest moments of a wedding day.
Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. Kayla and Ben chose to not to see each other before it, so you can imagine (and see in the photos below) how sweet of a moment seeing each other was! They got married in the gazebo underneath beautiful towering trees and landscaped gardens at Swan Lake. And we have to mention the gorgeous floral installations by Rose’s Bouquets, a Fort Wayne wedding only florist. It was such a stunning ceremony and setting. Kayla and Ben read vows, exchanged rings, and kissed! The two were officially husband and wife. We’ll let the photos tell the rest!
After the ceremony and family portraits, we took Kayla, Ben, and their wedding party out for some incredible photos around the golf course at Swan Lake Resort. We were on the hunt for beautiful fall trees and found them! These were some of our favorite fall photos of the season. After wedding party portraits, we did some portrait time with the newlyweds. They were so easy to work with. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, shared tons of chemistry, and laughed a bunch, making photos easy as pie.
Following portrait time with an awesome reception in Swan Lake Resorts ballroom. You almost forgot that you were in the middle of farmland in Indiana – It felt like a 5-star hotel in Chicago. After a great dinner, some toasts, and the first dances, everyone kicked the night off with the awesome Jason from Quattro Systems DJs. Rather than serving the traditional wedding cake, they served slushy Italian ice! Yum!
Kayla and Ben’s Swan Lake Resort wedding was an autumn dream! We loved capturing their big day and seeing all of the love their families shared for each other. We wish you two nothing but love and happiness as you start this new path of marriage. We love you guys!

Emily and Zach are married! You may remember these guys from their beautiful Purdue University engagement session, but if not, check them out here (CLICK ME)! Okay… Now that you’ve seen their engagement photos, please enjoy reading about all the sweet, memorable moments from their White Rose Event Center Wedding day! Also, make sure to check out some of our favorite photos below.
Emily and Zach are seriously one of the cutest couples we’ve ever met. They were so genuine and so goofy and sweet. It was a blast capturing their wedding day! We met up with them at the beautiful White Rose Event center, one of the most beautiful barn venues in the area. It was a very warm, beautiful summer day – It could not have been prettier! The girls got ready at a family home, where they shared mimosas and laughs. Once at the venue, the girls headed inside the getting ready house. This is where Emily put on her dress! Her mom and Zach’s mom helped her – It was super sweet. From there, Emily headed into another room to do a first look with her dad, then headed outside so her bridesmaids and sisters could see her full bridal look!
Zach and his groomsmen got ready inside the reception space, where they hung out and prepared for the fun day ahead. Then it was finally time for Emily and Zach’s first look. They met under a beautiful tree near the venue over looking the fields and beautiful property of White Rose. After an incredibly emotional and sweet first look, we took some portraits of these two and their bridal party, then got ready for the ceremony! The ceremony was outside the venue near the edge of the property. There was beautiful arch way covered in flowers and greenery behind Emily and Zach. The two exchanged vows, rings, and kissed! And just like that, after years of waiting, they were officially husband and wife! Now it was time to party.
The reception was great! So many laughs and and moments to capture. The toasts at this wedding probably set the bar for the most incredible surprise we’ve ever witnessed. Two years before the wedding the groom and the bride‘s grandmother write her a letter that he sealed and kept secret until the wedding day. The brides father read it aloud not leaving a dry eye in the house as we heard her deceased grandmother‘s words. It meant so much to her. Not gonna lie, we might have shed a tear or two. It was really one of sweetest moments to witness on their wedding day.
This wedding was super special to us because not only did we get to capture Emily and Zach’s wedding and families, but we also got to see quite a few of our past and future couples! We got to catch up with 2 of our past couples and 1 upcoming couple that we are photographing this year. Including Emily and Zach, that makes 4 Dustin and Corynn brides and grooms at a single wedding – That’s a record!
We loved getting to capture this amazingly sweet wedding day. The White Rose was decked out to perfection, and Emily and Zach were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for trusting us to capture the memories and moments of your wedding day – We love you guys!
