Chelsea and Cori are married! From getting to know these girls at their engagement session last winter to seeing them tie the knot on the gorgeous beaches of Mexico, we loved every part of working with these two! Chelsea and Cori chose the beautiful Hotel Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas as the location for their destination wedding. Infinite pools, gorgeous views of the ocean, hot sunny days – this location could not have been more awesome! We loved getting to know these two in paradise! This was our first time shooting a wedding on the pacific side of the continent – It was fantastic. This resort was incredible! Enough gushing about the resort, let’s talk about how amazing Chelsea and Cori looked! Each of them channeled their unique styles in their dresses. The day started with family and friends close by, each of them getting ready with their friends, sisters, and mom’s! After hair and makeup, these two got dressed and headed to the beach for an epic first look! You can just imagine… oh wait, you can see it! You can just SEE how sweet it was! Also, could these two have looked more beautiful? Nope!
After some photos on the beach, it was time for their intimate beach ceremony with family. Behind them was a gorgeous backdrop of teal-colored oceans and the beautiful playa el medano cliffs. It was seriously the most beautiful scene you could ever imagine! One of our favorite parts of Chelsea and Cori’s wedding day, aside from the atmosphere and witnessing these two tie the knot, was how they handled the heat! It was HOT out, but they didn’t let it bother them one bit – It was awesome.
The morning before their wedding, we did a sunrise session on the beach! The waves were pretty intense in the morning, so we stuck to taking pictures on the beach and the resort, including the awesome infinite pools. This session went so beautifully and we were so happy to capture these two in paradise.
After the wedding ceremony, we did some portraits on the beach with family and friends! Cori’s dad tried to get them both to ride a horse. Let’s just say that didn’t go over too well, but hey, we still got some pictures and captured MANY laughs from these two.
We had so much capturing Chelsea and Cori say “I do” in paradise. We are so excited for you both and hope that you enjoy the memories from your wedding for years to come. Enjoy married life! It’s awesome!
