So when Emily and Vishrut reached out to us about their Fort Wayne wedding photography, we were over the moon to capture it all. From the sentimental moments to the details in their decor. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we can’t want to share it with you!

Getting Ready

Getting ready photos are so fun because they capture the giddy smiles and excitement that comes right before you walk down the aisle. In addition, you are surrounded by some of your favorite people to help you get ready for the biggest day of your life. Emily got ready with family and friends as she got all dolled up before putting on her wedding dress. During this time she sent over a handkerchief with a custom note on it for Vishrut to open. This was such a beautifully sentimental touch that really added to the moment for both the bride and groom.

After the Emily was done getting ready and sharing special moments with her loved ones, she had a first look with her dad. First looks are always filled with emotion. However, first looks between fathers and daughters are so special and beyond touching. This is a detail in your wedding day that you definitely want to include in your Fort Wayne wedding photography! We loved getting to capture Emily with her dad, as well as the heartfelt moment they had together before the ceremony.

Wedding Ceremony

Emily and Vishrut had their Fort Wayne wedding ceremony outside and under a pavilion on a wood deck. This was absolutely perfect for their summer wedding! The couple and their guests were able to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, while beating the heat of summer. Their ceremony was filled with laughs, big smiles and happy tears!

Right after their outdoor wedding ceremony, we were able to capture their fresh excitement with bridal photos. We started with their bridal party, capturing the friendships and loving relationships there. Then we spent the majority of the time photographing just Emily and Vishrut in their outdoor bridal portraits around the property of their venue. There were so many different spots that added a lot of variety to their gallery. Including a lake, thick trees and a darling meadow.

Reception & Golden Hour

After our first set of photos, we headed back into Emily and Vishrut’s wedding reception. It was such a blast to get to see them with all of their friends and family. Dancing, laughing, eating cake and just embracing the moment! As Fort Wayne wedding photographers we get to photograph a lot of receptions, and it is always such an honor to witness how loved and celebrated our couples are.

As the sun was about to set, we pulled Emily and Vishrut back outside for golden hour photos! Fort Wayne wedding photography is even better when the sun sets behind you creating a stunning glow. Even if it means missing out on a few dances at your reception, catching golden hour is so worth it!
