Meet Katie & Andrew! This was our first wedding back since Indiana began opening things up. Luckily for everyone involved, these two were able to have the wedding they had originally planned. Read on for details about this sweet Pine Hills Church wedding…

Katie and Andrew got married at Pine Hills Church on the north side of Fort Wayne. We were super excited to learn that their ceremony would be held here because we have never photographed at this church before. The common thread and feel throughout their wedding day was “finally”. After being together for so many amazing years, friends and family were so excited because it just a long time coming. These two finally got to tie the knot, without even changing many wedding plans (… Thanks, COVID). The whole day was filled with a loving family and their awesome Son Jordan. It sure was one awesome day to photograph!

Because this was the first wedding back since things really started to open back up in Indiana, there were lots of nerves and anxiety all around. Katie and Andrew had originally thought they may have to postpone their wedding or change plans last minute. Thankfully their wedding date fell on the Saturday after opening – Everything could go as planned. They hosted the wedding reception at the beautiful Ceruti’s Banquet and Event Center on the Southwest side of Fort Wayne. This venue is really big, which was important to Katie and Andrew so guests could spread out and be comfortable during these trying times. Plus the space is super beautiful (fabric hanging from the ceilings and twinkly lights all around).

The wedding reception was a blast – lots of dancing, lots of really good food, and all-around had a fun atmosphere! We are so happy to share this beautiful Pine Hills Church wedding. We loved capturing this wedding day and we’re so thankful that things are safely opening back up in our awesome home state! We hope you two enjoy your wedding photos for years to come.
