Katie & Logan // War Memorial Coliseum Wedding

Meet Katie and Logan, one of our recent newlyweds of our 2018 wedding season. These two high school (now Boilermakers) sweethearts were each other’s first loves. It was so sweet to hear how their love grew and matured to get them to their big wedding day. We had a blast with them on their engagement photos too! Check out (here) to read about their engagement session (We loved the snow that day)!

Katie and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done at her childhood home: They wore matching floral robes (and matching smiles)! Katie’s little family dog was their at the house too spreading wedding day happiness. The final getting ready moment before leaving for the ceremony was getting into her dress. Katie’s mother buttoned her into her wedding gown while surrounded by all of her bridesmaids and special people in her life.

Their ceremony was held at the First Assembly of God Church. Beforehand, Katie had a first look with her dad. She gave him a pocket watch with “I loved You First,” engraved in the back. It was a very special moment for Katie and her dad as she is the only daughter in her family. When Katie walked down the aisle with her dad, you could see the love and emotion on everyone’s faces. It was such an awesome moment to witness – we love capturing the emotion of ceremonies!

After the ceremony, we took some sweet pics outside of the church and went to the reception at The War Memorial Coliseum. These two danced the night away, cut the cake, threw a bouquet (courtesy of Rose’s Bouquets, a wedding only Florist in Fort Wayne), and had a great night celebrating with friends and family. We were even able to sneak Katie and Logan outside the Coliseum to shoot some epic sunset shots. We loved being a part of your wedding, Katie and Logan. Thank you so much for the awesome day. Good luck to your new marriage!

Cheers.
