Meet McKenna and Aaron! They have been together for over 10 years! These two decided to wait to get married until she was done with Pharmacy school, so here we are! After an awesome decade together, they are finally married. Read on see our favorite photos from McKenna and Aaron’s beautiful Decatur Indiana wedding day and learn more about these two…

The day started at the adorable Bella Mia Salon. This is where McKenna and her bridesmaids got ready for the day. The salon is owned by McKenna’s friend, so this part of the day was super special too. After McKenna got in her gorgeous custom dress – She had some bold black lace added to the sleeves and neckline of it – it was time for the first looks! The first first look was with her dad. Outside the salon was a cute alleyway which blocked the heavy winds, so it was the perfect spot for a first look. McKenna walked up to her dad, tapped on his shoulder, and he was blown away by how beautiful his daughter looked. McKenna had never seen her dad cry or tear up before, so it was one of the most memorable and sweet moments from the day (pictured below)!

After McKenna’s first look with her dad, we went near by for a first look with Aaron. As you can imagine, their wedding day has been very much anticipated, so the excitement in this moment is hard to describe. We’ll just let the pictures do the talking! Naturally, this led into portrait time with both the wedding party and the soon to be newlyweds. We walked all around downtown Decatur for portraits. We thought it was going to rain, but we managed to avoid it! Even though it didn’t rain, there were definitely some high winds. So we ended up utilizing some of downtown Decatur’s cute alleyways for photos to block the wind. At one point, we even ran into Santa Claus! Of course, everyone wanted one last chance to make it on the nice list, so we took photos with Santa!

After portraits, we headed over to the beautiful and newly renovated Eden Reception Hall in Hoagland Indiana for family photos, the ceremony, and the recpetion! After knocking out family photos, everyone snacked on some of the many, many cupcakes, then the ceremony started. McKenna and Aaron did a sand ceremony to symbolize their unbreakable union, exchanged rings and vows, and kissed! After 10+ years together, they were officially husband and wife!!

The reception afterwards was filled with sweet toasts and lots of dancing. Plus some really good food and dessert! After toasts, McKenna and Aaron cut the cake and had their first dance. McKenna danced with her dad of course, and Aaron danced with his mom. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing, dancing, and more dancing. It was quite the party to photograph!

We loved capturing McKenna and Aaron’s Decatur Indiana wedding day. McKenna was glowing and so beautiful. It was a very special day to capture. We hope you two love your wedding photos as much as we loved taking them! Best wishes to the both of you!
