Victoria & Nathan // Courtyard Marriott Wedding

Let the wedding bells ring, Victoria & Nathan are married! Their Courtyard Marriott wedding was absolutely lovely. We loved photographing (and videoing!) their special day, and can’t wait to share more with you…

You can’t forget these two after their stylish Hotel Carmichael engagement session in Carmel! Victoria & Nathan are always a pleasure to work with, and we were so excited to see them again. Their day started at the hotel with getting ready in the conference rooms. The girls had adorable matching Starbucks cups personalized with their roles! Their flowers were amazingly done by the great Rose’s Bouquets. Our bride got her insanely gorgeous dress from Ellen’s Bridal Boutique, and the handsome groom and groomsmen got their tuxes from The Modern Groom! Sarah Appenzeller & Andrea White finished off Victoria’s elegant bridal look with her pretty hair and makeup.

Once our bride was all ready, we went out to the open courtyard for Victoria & Nathan’s first look. She walked up, tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around and saw his stunning bride-to-be. Their first look was so sweet and was followed by another first look with Victoria and her father. Both first looks were so touching and amazing to experience. We snapped some wedding party and family photos outside, and then, it was time for our couple to be wed!

Victoria & Nathan’s beautiful wedding ceremony was held at St. Jude Catholic Church. Nathan took his spot at the altar and waited on his bride. Then, Victoria’s dad walked her down the aisle and handed her off to her future husband! They had a lovely ceremony in which they exchanged vows and rings, and then kissed. Finally, they were pronounced husband and wife!

Following their ceremony, we took more family photos inside the church. Then, Victoria & Nathan, along with their wedding party, hopped on a trolley! We met them in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne for more wedding photos. We of course had to hit up the iconic spots downtown such as the gold doors at the Lincoln Tower and the lawn of the Allen County Courthouse. After capturing pictures there, we moved to the steps of the Cathedral to take additional portraits of our bride and groom!

Then, we moved back to the Courtyard by Marriott to party at their reception! This reception was full of love and laughter. Through touching toasts to adorable first dances, it was a night to remember! Victoria & Nathan’s favorite part of their big day was their first dance. They said it felt like they were the only ones in the room! They also loved sharing all of those special moments with their friends and family.

After the two danced together for the first time as husband and wife, Nathan and his mom had their sweet dance. Next, it was Victoria’s turn to dance with her dad. They started out their father-daughter dance normally, and then, changed into fun sunglasses and clothes and danced their hearts out! It was such an exciting and special moment of their day. Later, they cut the delicious cake, made by Gracey’s Goodies!

While we love taking photos, we also have a love for videos! Victoria & Nathan chose our video company, Big Burrito Creative, as their videographer. It was fabulous being able to capture both pictures and videos for our couple!

We had the best time at Victoria & Nathan’s Courtyard Marriott wedding. We wish these two all the best in their marriage! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your story.

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
