Becca & Joey tied the knot! They’re officially husband and wife! Their Oakwood Resort wedding was stunning and so much fun. We are so excited to share more of their big day with you…

Our bride Becca grew up going to the lake all the time, and always dreamt of getting married on the lake… mission accomplished! Their ceremony and reception were both held at the beautiful Oakwood Resort which sits right on the lake. They also got ready at the venue. Becca’s maid of honor owns Blush Bridal & Beauty Boutique in downtown Fort Wayne, so she did hair and makeup! The girls’ gorgeous dresses were from there as well. The pretty florals were done by none other than Rose’s Bouquets!

We did a sweet first look with Becca and her dad, and then captured a few photos of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Then, it was time for Becca & Joey to be wed! Guests took their seats and the wedding party took their places, along with our groom. Then, Becca’s dad walked her down the aisle to her soon-to-be-husband! He handed her off to Joey, and then they had a beautiful ceremony. Once they exchanged vows and rings, they were pronounced husband and wife!

After their ceremony, we took family and wedding party photos and then focused on our bride and groom. The lake makes for absolutely gorgeous photos! These two are naturals in front of the camera and are so much fun to capture. Another fun aspect to the day – we were honored to not only capture their photos, but their wedding video as well, through Big Burrito Creative! Once we got photos and videos of the newlyweds, it was time to start the party. They had the awesome band, Night to Remember, play at their reception! The band filled the night with so much excitement. Their DJ WRUF, Rufus Ayres, was also fantastic! Becca & Joey had so many friends and family there celebrating with them – it was amazing. The reception was the most epic party to celebrate their love!

Becca & Joey’s Oakwood Resort wedding was one to remember. We are honored to be part of their love story and are so excited for them to start their lives together!
