Brooke & Holden // Goeglein’s Wedding

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Holden & Brooke Schaefer! These two are so kind, caring, and genuine, and we are so honored they chose us to photograph their love story. Check out more of their Goeglein’s wedding below!

Brooke & Holden got married at the beautiful Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. We started our day out here with some getting-ready photos. Brooke found her stunning, sparkly wedding dress from I Do Bridal Boutique. She looked like a true princess! Once our bride was in her dress and ready to go, she had a sweet first look with her bridesmaids! The looks on their faces were priceless. These moments with your best friends are ones you’ll remember forever! Then, Brooke headed over to do a first look with her groom Holden. As he turned around and saw his bride for the first time, so many emotions flooded through! The love Brooke & Holden share is so beautiful.

Guests started arriving, and then, it was time for their ceremony! Holden took his place at the altar and waited for his bride. Then, Brooke’s father walked her down the aisle, lifted her veil, and handed her off to her groom. They had a lovely ceremony in which they shared in their first communion together as husband and wife, exchanged vows and rings, and finally, kissed! They were then pronounced husband and wife!

Following the ceremony, we stayed in the gorgeous Cathedral and captured photos with Brooke & Holden and their families. We stepped outside and took some wedding party photos, along with some of our favorite, veil photos! When brides have long veils, we can create some truly amazing pictures with them. Then, our bride and groom and their wedding party hopped on a trolley! We met them over at Lakeside Rose Garden to take more pictures. Once they arrived, they broke out some awesome sunglasses! We had a blast taking photos with this crew.

It was then time to head to Goeglein’s for the reception! The wedding party made their grand entrance, followed by a welcome message from Brooke’s dad, a prayer, and then toasts. Both Brooke’s matron and maid of honor spoke about our lovely bride, and Holden’s best man spoke about him. After we ate a delicious dinner, they did the exciting dollar dash! We love this tradition. Following that, Brooke & Holden cut their wedding cake, and then went out to the dance floor to have their first dance. This was followed by Brooke’s sweet dance with her dad, and Holden’s sweet dance with his mom.

We took our bride and groom outside to photograph them in the beautiful area behind Goeglein’s. These two are naturals in front of the camera! They made it so easy and fun to capture their love. Then, we went back inside, and danced the night away with their closest friends and family!

Brooke & Holden’s Goeglein’s wedding day was wonderful. We had a blast with these two, and feel so lucky to have been part of their big day. We wish you guys all the best as you start your marriage!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
