Natalie & Josh // Cleveland Ohio Engagement

Natalie & Josh // Cleveland Ohio Engagement

Meet Natalie & Josh! We met up with these two Buckeye fans in Cleveland Ohio for their super sweet engagement session. We loved getting to photograph these two and we can’t wait to have them in front of our cameras next year at their wedding. Read on for more details from their session and see all of their photos!

We started off by the beautiful lake for photos along the shoreline. Lakewood Park was so beautiful and had so many locations to photograph with! There were tree lined paths by the water and a new addition to the park called the “solstice steps”, which are essentially really awesome large stairs over looking the water of lake Erie. After taking some photos on the water front, we headed into the park to capture the last of the fall colors for the season! It was sunny out so everything glowed so warmly.

It was pretty windy during their session. It was a chilly fall day near the lake, so the winds were strong, but we made it work! We found locations that made for some magic photos! Of course, it wouldn’t be a Cleveland engagement session with taking a photo with the “Cleveland” sign with the city skyline in the background! It was awesome. Near the end of their session, these two Ohio State fans changed into some Buckeye jerseys, then into some comfy Buckeye clothes! We love when we get to photograph our couples with things or places that mean so much to them. Being fans of Ohio State University is something these two share, so we just we had to photograph this!

We loved photographing Natalie and Josh in their home town! We can’t wait to see what they have planned for their wedding next year – We have a feeling that it’s gonna be pretty awesome. Happy planning!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Erin & Nathan // Pigeon Forge Tennessee Wedding

Erin & Nathan // Pigeon Forge Tennessee Wedding

Meet Erin & Nathan! These two got married in Tennessee up in the great Smokey Mountains – Yes, it was an absolute dream. It was beyond worth the drive from Fort Wayne to photograph these two’s Pigeon Forge Tennessee wedding. Read on to learn more about Erin and Nathan and see our favorite wedding photos…

When we got the call from Erin to capture her and Nathan’s wedding, we were stoked! Fun fact, we captured both Nathan’s sister’s wedding and Nathan’s brother’s wedding (CLICK ME). So when we got the call to photograph Erin and Nathan’s wedding, we were so happy! Now all three Pritchard sibling weddings have been photographed by us. It just feels.. complete! Which is yet another reason we loved this wedding. It was so great seeing the Pritchard family again and meet Erin’s family too.

Erin and Nathan were originally going to have a destination wedding, but, as you may have guessed, COVID changed plans. Erin and Nathan decided to get married a little closer to home, but also wanted gorgeous scenery. The Smokey Mountains are just that! On the morning of the wedding, everyone got ready at Parkside Resorts, a stunning mountain cabin resort. (We loved them so much that we even booked one for our family vacation next year!) We’ll let the pictures do the talking for how gorgeous they are…

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at Mountain Mist Farms, a mountain top farm venue with views of the Great Smokey Mountains. Just steps below the barn, there was Erin and Nathan got married right as the sun began to set over the mountains – It was quite literally picture perfect! After the ceremony, we took family photos with the remainder of the sunlight, then took some portraits of the newly weds. The mountains for so dreamy to photograph in and so different from the cornfields we’re used to in Indiana.

The reception was awesome! Twinkly white lights hung from the ceiling, delicious foods were served, and yes, there were some hilarious toasts given. The night was filled with love, laughter, and you guessed it, dancing! Instead of serving traditional wedding cake, the sweet treat at the end of the night were pies.

Capturing Erin and Nathan’s wedding was so sweet. Having worked with this family so much, the whole day was just easy going and fun. We could not have asked for better weather or better people to photograph. Thank you guys for choosing us to capture your special day in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We wish you two nothing but love and happiness with your new lives as newly weds. Best of luck to the both of you!!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Hannah & Rod // Louisville Kentucky Engagement

Meet Hannah and Rod! Some of you may recognize these two already though. Before moving to Louisville, these two lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana and worked for local news! Hannah is a meteorologist and Rod is a news producer. We loved capturing this sweet Louisville engagement session… Read on to learn more about Hannah and Rod and see some of our favorite photos from their sweet session with us!

Wow. Where do we begin? First of all, Hannah and Rod were a dream to work with. They were so funny and easy going. They were up for anything we wanted to try and made everything work so nicely. Seriously, we can’t talk highly enough about these two. Chemistry, love, and easy going attitudes are how to make magic during an engagement session, and Hannah and Rod had all of that and more.

Although it was a bit of a drive to Louisville, we could not have asked for a prettier city to photograph in and explore. Hannah and Rod brought us to some beautiful spots, including a stunning park full of fall color. We also could not have asked for better weather. It was a sunny day with wispy clouds and a stunning sunset at the end of it. At the end of the session, we headed to the riverwalk area for some epic photos with the water, the bridge, and the sunset! You can see some photos of Hannah and Rod with the beautiful sunset below!

Hannah and Rod will be getting married in Fort Wayne next year at The Charles. We seriously can’t wait to see these two again and see what magic they’ll create on their wedding day. We loved exploring Hannah and Rod’s hometown. This Louisville engagement was one for the books! We’ll see you guys soon. Until then, happy planning!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Olivia & Vince // Purdue Engagement

Olivia & Vince // Purdue Engagement

Meet Olivia and Vince! We loved getting to know these two boilermakers during their engagement session with us. They flew all the way out to Indiana from Boston just for their engagement session. It was so awesome of them to make this special trip just for us! Read on for more about Olivia and Vince and see some of our favorite photos from this sweet Purdue engagement session…

Olivia and Vince met at Purdue University, so naturally, that’s where we had to photograph their engagement session! They were so sweet with each other (so much chemistry and laughs with these two). We went to all the fun spots on campus: Purdue’s Engineering fountain, the Bell Tower, and of course the big Purdue university sign! We even photographed Olivia and Vince at their favorite bar, Harry’s Chocolate Shop! It was perfectly vintage and awesome in every way. At the end of the session, we found a really cool alley nearby with murals painted on every wall. This is where we finished out their engagement session! It was a great end to a great session with two great people.

We loved capturing this fun Purdue Engagement session! Lucky for us, we get to see these guys again soon at Mackenzie and Logan’s wedding in November – Olivia is her maid of honor!! We can’t wait to see you guys again and photograph your wedding. Until then, happy planning!

Aisha & Atif // Philadelphia Engagement

Aisha & Atif // Philadelphia Engagement

Meet Aisha and Atif! These two love birds flew us out to the beautiful city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After a whirlwind trip to Denver Colorado for another engagement session (CLICK HERE TO SEE), we flew to the east coast for an awesome Philadelphia engagement session with Aisha and Atif. It was a blast! Read on for details about these two and their wedding! Plus, see some of our favorite photos from their session below…

We had quite a weekend of travel with engagement sessions. After capturing Alex and Chris’ Denver Colorado engagement, we had the pleasure of flying out to Philadelphia to capture Aisha and Atif’s engagement. It was so fun exploring these beautiful cities! Check out these two’s incredible outfits! Can you spot the dinosaurs on Atif’s shirt? LOVE

These two were a blast to work with. They have a genuine love that shows through all of their photos (and one awesome wardrobe). Because of COVID-19 and the fact the these two are super hero doctors, we had a tough time finding time to do their engagement session. Thankfully we were able to get it scheduled!

We met up in the historic Center City, which is a part of downtown Philadelphia. We walked around the city, finding fun spots to photograph at. We even photographed Aisha and Atif on the “Rocky Steps” in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps that Rocky famously ran on. Lucky for us, the city was pretty quiet and not very busy because of COVID-19, so we had a ton of options for photos!

Aisha and Atif will be getting married next month! We are so excited to capture their big day and meet their families and friends. We’re even more excited to see what these two have in store for their wedding day. Until then, happy planning!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Alex & Chris // Denver Colorado Engagement

Alex & Chris // Denver Colorado Engagement

Meet Alex and Chris! We had the awesome opportunity of traveling to Denver Colorado to capture these two’s engagement session. Denver was absolutely beautiful – We have been so excited to share these photos! Read on for wedding details, fun facts about Alex and Chris, and see our favorite photos from this sweet Denver Colorado engagement session…

Photographing our couples on their home turf is always so fun. We get to go on a little adventure with them and see all the local spots (Chris even treated me with some good ol’ Colorado Tacos – They were delicious). It never rains in Denver, but there were scattered storms all day on the day of their engagement session. Even though it was a little over cast, we worked it out and ended up with some beautiful sunny photos on a mountain top! You can even see some of the rain off in the distance on their other mountain tops.

We went to a super cute restaurant in Denver towards the beginning of their session – We thought it was only fitting to take some photos there since this was where they had their first date! After the restaurant, we went to a little spot by a lake for some variety, then we got to take some photos of them with their super sweet golden retrievers! They are such sweet dogs.

It wouldn’t be an engagement session in Denver if we didn’t hike a mountain! Lucky for us, Alex’s mom helped us all day. Whether it was outfit changes, taking care of the dogs, climbing mountains, or emotional support, Beth was there to help! So here’s a big shout out to super helpful moms out there like Beth! She even braved some battle wounds from the dogs pulling her down on gravel – Ouch. (I may or may not have taking a tumble hiking down the mountain a few times. But hey, we do anything for the perfect shot!

Alex and Chris are having their wedding in downtown Fort Wayne this fall! The ceremony is going to be at the beautiful Allen County Courthouse. If you’ve never seen a wedding there before, check out this blog (CLICK ME). We hope you enjoyed reading about this sweet Denver Colorado engagement session. See all of our favorite shots below!

Happy wedding planning – See you two in a few months!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
