Meet the awesome Hailie and Ashton! We met Hailie when she worked for Rose’s Bouquets, an awesome wedding-only florist business in Fort Wayne. We continued to know Hailie when she switched careers to the Mad Anthony Hope House. We worked with her as a florist as well as in her non-profit career. When she and Ashton got engaged, we knew we wanted to be a part of her wedding story! This family farm engagement session was so fun – Read on for all the details.
When Hailie began planning their wedding, she wanted to have the wedding at her and Ashton’s property. As planning went on, she realized parking would be a big issue. She still wanted to include their property in their wedding story however, so we suggested capturing their engagement session there! This property was beautiful – It was full of character, greenery, tall golden grass, open fields, and came with two super awesome people (hint hint… Hailie and Ashton).
During their session, we got to meet their two adorable and MASSIVE mastiff dogs – Of course, they are very excited that their mom and dad are getting married (see pictures for evidence)! As the night went on, the sky got prettier and prettier. The sunset was stunning. At the end of the night, we were even able to talk Hailie and Ashton in to getting into their pond. The sunset glowed behind them as they danced in the water together. It was the best way to end the night!
We loved capturing Hailie and Ashton’s family farm engagement session. We have loved getting to work with these two on multple occasions – We can’t wait to work with them again on their big day! Happy planning.

See if you can spot Izabella! We are so happy that we get to capture her and Kris’ big day. She knew she wanted us to capture their big day from the moment she met us. For that to become reality, we were all really excited! This Metea Park engagement session was a blast. This is one of our favorite places to capture couples because of all of the variety the park has to offer. Keep reading on to learn more about this sweet couple, their soon-to-be wedding, and the two four-pawed cuties they brought with them!
Metea Park was gorgeous for this session! The season is changing here in good ol’ Fort Wayne, so the fields are beginning to turn gold. The trees are almost about to turn! In a couple of weeks, we have 2 days of fall mini sessions here! Izabella knew she wanted a beautiful park feel in their engagement photos, so we were so happy to accommodated her wishes with Metea Park! Izabella and Kris live up in Michigan, so they made the long haul to Fort Wayne for their engagement session with us WITH their dogs! How awesome are they?
We hopped around to several locations around Metea Park, starting by the benches by the pond, moving to photos on the beach, then going back into the more woodsy side of the park. These two laughed with us and each other the whole time – It’s easy to see their sweet personalities and connection in these photos! Plus we got to meet
Izabella & Kris will be getting married next summer in the beautiful month of June! We’re so happy that we got to capture these two at their Metea Park Engagement session and we can’t wait to capture their big day! It will be her before we know it. For now, enjoy planning! We’ll see you guys soon.

Meet Marisa and Ryan! When these two contacted us to capture their wedding and engagement, we were so pumped! These love struck pharmacists are getting married at the Empyrean in January of 2020. Just wait until you see the photos from this sweet Promenade Park Engagement session in downtown Fort Wayne!
We are super excited for their wedding. January weddings are super special – It’s a new year! Why not start it by marrying your best friend? Their wedding will be at the Empyrean in downtown Fort Wayne. This venue is full of natural light, amazing service, and sits at the top of the PNC building 26 floors up. Not to mention, the food is amazing. Pretty views all evening long! Plus you get to work with their amazing event designer, Alex Kenny, does it get any better?
We went to the historic Lakeside Rose Gardens and the brand new Promenade Park in Fort Wayne! The Lakeside Rose Gardens was beautiful at sunset. Many of the flowers were in bloom and we had the park nearly all to ourselves! We were so pumped to photograph at the new Promenade Park nestled along the river. The awesome city of Fort Wayne designed and built a beautiful park in downtown Fort Wayne along our famous three rivers! It is a beautiful park and we were happy to capture Marisa and Ryan here. To say we were excited to shoot at the new park is an understatement. It is so awesome!
We loved getting to work with Marisa and Ryan at their Promenade Park Engagement session! They seriously looked like models in all of their photos. We hope you enjoy these photos for years to come! Can’t wait to capture your wedding day at the top of Fort Wayne and see you two tie the knot! Happy planning!

Meet Claire and Bennet! These two made a long trip to Fort Wayne just for us to capture their engagement. Claire and Bennet recently moved to Indianapolis and are building a house! So they drove 2 hours to Fort Wayne and 2 hours back to Indianapolis all in one evening. Guess we’re worth it! This Concordia Seminary Engagement Session was a blast.
Corynn and I have actually known these two for a while. Corynn was in kindergarten with Bennet and I worked with Bennet at my first job in highschool – Banditos! When these two reached out to us about shooting their wedding, we were bummed because we were already booked! They still wanted to work with us however, so we decided to meet up in Fort Wayne for a fun engagement session.
We went to the beautiful Concordia Seminary for their engagement photos. This place offers so many beautiful views and locations for photo sessions – It’s a favorite of ours for sure! Not to mention, the sky was gorgeous on this night. Pinks, yellows, blue – It was one for the books. These two wore three different outfits throughout their session. The first, Claire wore a long, yellow floral summer dress while Bennet wore white shorts and a navy dress shirt. Their next outfit was a little more casual – Claire wore a white top, black pants, and some rockin’ leopard heels. Bennet wore a red flannel shirt and grey jeans. The third outfit was more formal. We love when couples add variety to their engagement session with pops of color and different styles. Claire wore a long, red jumpsuit with ruffle sleeves and Bennett wore dress pants, a white dress shirt, and a black jacket. These two looked SHARP during their session!
It was a blast working with these two while capturing their Concordia Seminary engagement. We loved seeing you guys again! Hope you enjoy your photos for years to come – Enjoy Indianapolis and your new home!

Molly and Nick are married! Feels like we were photographing their engagement session just yesterday. This Union 12 wedding was a blast! The people, the venue, and this awesome couple made every aspect of this wedding so fun. Before you read about their wedding day though, you have to read about their sweet engagement session with us. You can view all of their photos and read about their session here (CLICK ME)! Now that you’ve their engagement session, you can read all their wedding details. Get ready…
The day started with Molly and Nick getting ready with their wedding party; Molly with her bridesmaids and Nick with his groomsmen. Union 12 offers a beautiful getting ready location to all their brides and grooms! It has several getting ready areas, lots of windows for natural light, and is conveniently located on the property. After Molly and her bridesmaids popped some champagne and added final getting ready details, it was ceremony time!
Union 12 has a beautiful covered patio for the ceremony location. One by one, groups of bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle as Nick anxiously waited to see Molly. Once everyone was in place, Molly’s mom walked her down the aisle. As soon as their eyes met, both Molly and Nick were beaming with happiness! Their ceremony had a lot of laughs and funny moments – It was a fun celebration! After braiding the cord of three strands, Molly and Nick were pronounced husband and wife! They kissed, and with joy walked back down the aisle. This time as husband and wife!
After their ceremony, guests headed inside to the reception. Once family portraits were completed, we took the wedding part outside for some portraits! It was really hot and humid during this time, so we worked as quickly as possible to capture the moment and get everyone back in to the air conditioning! After portraits, there were toasts, cake cutting, dancing, photo booth action, and more! At the end of the night, we took some epic sunset photos – Just wait until you see the photos! We loved every bit of this Union 12 wedding. Working with this group of people was a blast – We loved getting to know Molly and Nick through the awesome process of getting married. We hope you enjoy your wedding photos for years to come! Best wishes to you both!

Ceremony time! Look at Nick’s face when he sees Molly for the first time! Northeast Indiana weather could not make up it’s mind on Molly & Nick’s wedding day. It would be sunny one minute, and storming the next! Luckily, the majority of the day was blue skies and sunshine. We snapped the photo above right after a storm had passed. If you think this sky is epic, just wait until you see the sunset photo from the end of the night… See what we mean? This sunset was EPIC. Blue skies, to stormy skies, to gorgeous sunset skies. Molly and Nick had it all on their wedding day! (Also, Dustin was laying down on the soaking wet ground to get this epic shot – so worth it.) Molly and Nick also wanted a photobooth at their reception. We offer an additional service for our brides and grooms who are looking for a fun way to get their guest more involved in their wedding photos. We provide an awesome backdrop, additional staff to manage the booth, immediate printing of the photos, and fun props for the guests to use! You can see below how much fun Molly and Nick’s guests had with the photobooth add on.
Introducing Sara and Ian! We’ve gotten to know these two pretty well over their past two mini engagement sessions with us. Last winter, we met up with Sara and Ian in Roanoke, walking along the sweet streets of the little downtown. It was so cold that day – one of the coldest days of the year! That is when we decided to make it a mini session and do another session in the summer! Their next session was at Fort Wayne’s own Three Rivers Festival! We have never done a Three Rivers Festival engagement session before, at least not on one of the hottest days of the year, so this was a fun experience to say the least! If the preview photos below aren’t enough for you, the rest of their photos are online here.
During our first session together, it was so cold! Indiana had just been blanketed in snow and temperatures were in the negatives! As you can imagine, we had a short and sweet session because of this. Still, the cold didn’t stop these two from being super sweet together. Winter sessions can be extra fun because photos naturally look more cozy and sweet – Just look at them! Downtown Roanoke provided a perfect setting too. If you’ve never been, you need to treat yourself to a visit here. There are local boutiques, ice cream shops, antique furniture stores, and restaurants all for discovery! We started taking photos by some snow-covered pine trees, then moved to one of the many little garden/patio areas in the little downtown. Of course, we couldn’t go to downtown Roanoke and not take photos in front of the amazing Joseph Decuis restaurant. These two snuggled up on one of the front steps of the restaurant and made our job super easy. Again, just look at them. After a little while, I think everyone was a little (a lot) numb from the cold, so we called it a day!
The weather was just a little bit different during their next session. Okay… a lot different! Ironically, Fort Wayne was under a heat advisory! We joked, “You two had engagement photos done on one of the coldest days of the year, and one of the hottest! Not many people can say that.” Weather extremes and other “problems” may arise, but we always make are couples comfortable with the situation at hand and make their sessions special and memorable. The hot weather may have made troubled others, but not these two! For those of you reading this who are not all familiar with the awesome city of Fort Wayne, every year the city puts on a big festival – There are rides, concerts, and a wonderful selection of fair foods. Capturing Sara and Ian here was a blast! There was just so much to capture and endless possibilities. We started with taking some photos with the setting sun, then when it was a little darker, we went by the rides to catch all the action of the festival. Everything about this session was fun, new, and creative! We loved getting to work with these two again.
Sara and Ian will be getting married this October. It was so fun getting to know these two during their wintery, downtown Roanoke and Three Rivers Festival engagement sessions. Whether in a cute, snow-covered town or a downtown festival in the city during a heat advisory, it’s very clear how much these two love each other! We can’t wait to capture all of this love again (and hopefully with more mild weather)! See you guys soon! Happy planning…
