Molly and Nick are married! Feels like we were photographing their engagement session just yesterday. This Union 12 wedding was a blast! The people, the venue, and this awesome couple made every aspect of this wedding so fun. Before you read about their wedding day though, you have to read about their sweet engagement session with us. You can view all of their photos and read about their session here (CLICK ME)! Now that you’ve their engagement session, you can read all their wedding details. Get ready…
The day started with Molly and Nick getting ready with their wedding party; Molly with her bridesmaids and Nick with his groomsmen. Union 12 offers a beautiful getting ready location to all their brides and grooms! It has several getting ready areas, lots of windows for natural light, and is conveniently located on the property. After Molly and her bridesmaids popped some champagne and added final getting ready details, it was ceremony time!
Union 12 has a beautiful covered patio for the ceremony location. One by one, groups of bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle as Nick anxiously waited to see Molly. Once everyone was in place, Molly’s mom walked her down the aisle. As soon as their eyes met, both Molly and Nick were beaming with happiness! Their ceremony had a lot of laughs and funny moments – It was a fun celebration! After braiding the cord of three strands, Molly and Nick were pronounced husband and wife! They kissed, and with joy walked back down the aisle. This time as husband and wife!
After their ceremony, guests headed inside to the reception. Once family portraits were completed, we took the wedding part outside for some portraits! It was really hot and humid during this time, so we worked as quickly as possible to capture the moment and get everyone back in to the air conditioning! After portraits, there were toasts, cake cutting, dancing, photo booth action, and more! At the end of the night, we took some epic sunset photos – Just wait until you see the photos! We loved every bit of this Union 12 wedding. Working with this group of people was a blast – We loved getting to know Molly and Nick through the awesome process of getting married. We hope you enjoy your wedding photos for years to come! Best wishes to you both!

Ceremony time! Look at Nick’s face when he sees Molly for the first time! Northeast Indiana weather could not make up it’s mind on Molly & Nick’s wedding day. It would be sunny one minute, and storming the next! Luckily, the majority of the day was blue skies and sunshine. We snapped the photo above right after a storm had passed. If you think this sky is epic, just wait until you see the sunset photo from the end of the night… See what we mean? This sunset was EPIC. Blue skies, to stormy skies, to gorgeous sunset skies. Molly and Nick had it all on their wedding day! (Also, Dustin was laying down on the soaking wet ground to get this epic shot – so worth it.) Molly and Nick also wanted a photobooth at their reception. We offer an additional service for our brides and grooms who are looking for a fun way to get their guest more involved in their wedding photos. We provide an awesome backdrop, additional staff to manage the booth, immediate printing of the photos, and fun props for the guests to use! You can see below how much fun Molly and Nick’s guests had with the photobooth add on.
Introducing Sara and Ian! We’ve gotten to know these two pretty well over their past two mini engagement sessions with us. Last winter, we met up with Sara and Ian in Roanoke, walking along the sweet streets of the little downtown. It was so cold that day – one of the coldest days of the year! That is when we decided to make it a mini session and do another session in the summer! Their next session was at Fort Wayne’s own Three Rivers Festival! We have never done a Three Rivers Festival engagement session before, at least not on one of the hottest days of the year, so this was a fun experience to say the least! If the preview photos below aren’t enough for you, the rest of their photos are online here.
During our first session together, it was so cold! Indiana had just been blanketed in snow and temperatures were in the negatives! As you can imagine, we had a short and sweet session because of this. Still, the cold didn’t stop these two from being super sweet together. Winter sessions can be extra fun because photos naturally look more cozy and sweet – Just look at them! Downtown Roanoke provided a perfect setting too. If you’ve never been, you need to treat yourself to a visit here. There are local boutiques, ice cream shops, antique furniture stores, and restaurants all for discovery! We started taking photos by some snow-covered pine trees, then moved to one of the many little garden/patio areas in the little downtown. Of course, we couldn’t go to downtown Roanoke and not take photos in front of the amazing Joseph Decuis restaurant. These two snuggled up on one of the front steps of the restaurant and made our job super easy. Again, just look at them. After a little while, I think everyone was a little (a lot) numb from the cold, so we called it a day!
The weather was just a little bit different during their next session. Okay… a lot different! Ironically, Fort Wayne was under a heat advisory! We joked, “You two had engagement photos done on one of the coldest days of the year, and one of the hottest! Not many people can say that.” Weather extremes and other “problems” may arise, but we always make are couples comfortable with the situation at hand and make their sessions special and memorable. The hot weather may have made troubled others, but not these two! For those of you reading this who are not all familiar with the awesome city of Fort Wayne, every year the city puts on a big festival – There are rides, concerts, and a wonderful selection of fair foods. Capturing Sara and Ian here was a blast! There was just so much to capture and endless possibilities. We started with taking some photos with the setting sun, then when it was a little darker, we went by the rides to catch all the action of the festival. Everything about this session was fun, new, and creative! We loved getting to work with these two again.
Sara and Ian will be getting married this October. It was so fun getting to know these two during their wintery, downtown Roanoke and Three Rivers Festival engagement sessions. Whether in a cute, snow-covered town or a downtown festival in the city during a heat advisory, it’s very clear how much these two love each other! We can’t wait to capture all of this love again (and hopefully with more mild weather)! See you guys soon! Happy planning…

Meet Courtney and Matt! We had so much fun getting to know these guys during their engagement session. Below are some highlights of their session and all the details during! Last time we saw Courtney was when we were photographing her brothers wedding! We love working with the same family multiple times, makes us feel like we are part of the family.
We met up with these two at Metea Park, a gorgeous park in Fort Wayne with lots of greenery and locations. It’s beautiful all year long, so it’s a go-to for us!
We can’t wait for these guys’ wedding later this year! Happy planning! See you soon.
“Can we bring our dogs to our engagement session?”
We get this question a lot! Of COURSE you can. We love when our couples bring their sweet fur babies along during their sessions! Rachel and Jonathan brought their two super sweet pups with them – We adored getting to capture the 4 of them! Just look at those happy puppy faces!
For their engagement session, Rachel and Jonathan met us at the beautiful Foster Park in Fort Wayne – one of our favorite Fort Wayne parks because of all of the greenery and many photo opportunities! We’ve actually known Rachel for a long time. This is because Rachel’s Mom and my step Mom are actually best friends! We’ve known her so long that we even did her senior photos in high school (Wow, we feel old). Now she’s all grown up and getting married! Getting to know Jonathan and Rachel through their session was super fun! These two have a lot of fun stories up their sleeves and we can’t wait to get to know them better at their wedding! We got to exploring Foster Park with these two – They even got up in a tree for some photos!
These two will be getting married this summer at the Orchard ridge Country club. Can’t wait to capture you guys on your best day ever!

Meet Kayla and Ben! These two were absolutely amazing to work with – Kayla was easily one of the best models we’ve had the pleasure of working with. She was so natural in front of the camera – laughing, loving, and smiling with Ben. Just wait til this winter when we share part 2 of their engagement session.
We started by capturing their love over wine at Two EE’s in Roanoke, Indiana! From there, we headed to the beautiful downtown streets of Roanoke. The streets there are filled with character, flower boxes, brick paths, old timey murals, and more. We enjoyed capturing their love in such a sweet place – It was so dreamy.
Kayla and Ben’s outfits were something to note! Kayla wore a beautiful red floral dress which was super colorful and bright against the scenery (and super flowy in the wind). It matched so well with Ben’s button down shirt. These two currently reside in Warsaw, Indiana and hope to live there after their wedding next year!
Part 2 of their engagement session will be coming next winter! These guys wanted mini sessions so they could capture their love in their favorite seasons. Can’t wait to share more of Kayla and Ben’s love with you all! We hope you enjoy this adorable engagement session as much as we did!

Part two of Tonya and Drew’s Engagement session is here! We had so much fun at this session – We love when our couples take us to locations that mean a lot to them! Drew is from huntington, so we went to his old stomping grounds. We started at the beautiful Sunken Gardens, a hidden gem of a location that most people don’t even know about! From beautiful stone staircases to lush greenery growing up the walls, it was a stunning location. We made a pit stop at the Forks of Wabash because Tonya thought it was super cute! So we just had to take photos in front of the little cabins there. Aren’t they adorable?
Tonya and Drew looked amazing too. We love solid color colored outfits and outfits with bold patterns! Tonya’s first outfit was a beautiful royal blue dress which complimented Drew’s light blue shirt very nicely. When outfits are simple, it’s easier to focus on the love of the couple and the connection they share in the photographs! Needless to say, these two looked great! We loved the locations they chose for their photos and loved working with them even more!
We loved getting to know you two even better! Can’t wait for your wedding day! Until then…
