Well everyone, meet Gabby and Kyle! This awesome, newly engaged couple chose us to be their Fort Wayne Engagement photographers! These Fort Wayne natives went to Purdue University! Kyle is quite business savvy and Gabby is a Veterinarian (hence her love for animals and their two dogs)! These two will be getting married next year, however we will not be shooting their wedding because it’s outside Philadelphia! We were stoked that these guys wanted us to do their engagement photos! Even though we won’t be shooting their wedding next year, we are so honored that we had the chance to meet Gabby and Kyle and do a beautiful fall engagement session with them (and their dogs)!
For the location of their engagement session, we chose Fort Wayne own’s Metea Park! This beautiful park offers a lot of variety with locations as well as tons of fall colors. With it being November, the cold weather is really starting to roll in! These two were troopers though and handled the colder weather like champs. We hope you two have a super engagement and a beautiful wedding day! Thanks again for choosing us to capture this special time in your lives. Happy planning!

Meet Lindsey and Josh! These two were just the sweetest to work with. They are getting married next year at the Joseph DeCuis farm, a beautiful venue in Roanoke Indiana!
We met up with Lindsey and Josh at the University of Saint Francis at the grand Bass Mansion. With it being October, Lindsey expressed to us that she “love love loves fall”. We made sure to find locations with lots of colorful, changing trees so we could capture those fall colors for Lindsey! I think we accomplished just that!
When these two arrived, Lindsey said she had never had professional photos taken of herself before! She thought that she would be awkward, but these guys were the exact opposite! We barely had to help with posing ideas – Lindsey and Josh were so natural around each other. They just made it easy!
One thing we love about our job is when we get to capture things that are unique or special to couples. In this case, it was their adorable dogs – two beautiful labs. After taking some photos of just Lindsey and Josh, we headed over to a beautiful open field where their dogs could run, romp, and play. The dogs were so good and easy to work with! While the dogs ran freely through the field, Lindsey and Josh popped open a bottle of champagne to celebrate their engagement (and to capture some really cute pictures)!
We loved getting to work with you guys and your adorable pups. Thank you for choosing us to capture this special part of your lives – Can’t wait for the wedding next year! Happy planning.

Meet another one of our 2019 couples, Kayleen and Rob! These guys wanted something fun and different with their engagement photos – so we got creative! Kayleen is a nurse practitioner and Rob is a firefighter and EMT. You know what that means? We just HAD to take some pictures at the fire station. We love when our couples want to add fun elements in their shoot with us, especially when that means we get to take photos with a firetruck. Kayleen even wore her scrubs! It was so cool!
After the awesome photos at the fire station, we headed over to Salomon Farms, It was beautiful this time of year – so many fall colors! We captured the most beautiful sunset with these guys at the farm. It was epic! Kayleen and Rob are getting married next year at the Goegleins Homestead, a beautiful banquet center with high ceilings, wood beams, and really, really good food! We are getting really excited for their wedding next year! It’ll be here before we know it. Until then! Happy planning.

On today’s blog, we are introducing one of our 2019 couples…. Jenna and Mike! Fun fact about Mike: He is a flight instructor and is training to become a pilot – that’s a pretty cool gig. Their Fort Wayne Engagement session was so fun! These two traveled all the way from the great city of Indianapolis for their photos here. Both Jenna and Mike grew up in Fort Wayne and now live in Indianapolis. Just going off of how much fun we had with them during their session, we knew these photos would turn out great! And they did! We love our out-of-town couples. No matter where you’re from, it’s pretty easy to capture the love!
We decided on Metea Park in Fort Wayne for the location of their session! There are a lot of open fields, tall grass, woods, trails, and more. It’s a great location for couples looking for cozy fall pictures! The weather during Jenna and Mike’s session was exceptionally beautiful – bright blue skies, sunshine, and it was pleasantly warm! We just have to talk about their stellar outfit choices. One of Jenna’s outfits was a beautiful black lace dress with a long, sheer bottom – Mike wore a light blue dress shirt and black pants to match. Their first outfit was sharp! It always makes taking photos a little more fun when you can see how much the people you’re photographing care about the whole process.
Corynn and I had such a good time with you guys – We are so thankful that you made the trip up to Fort Wayne. We are already getting super excited for your Fort Wayne wedding next year! Until then.

With the fall season comes changing leaves and crisp air. For most, it’s a fun season of change! For photographers, it’s the busiest time of the year! Meet one of our upcoming 2019 couples! Molly and Nick met while in school at Indiana University. We loved this engagement session because we got to shoot at downtown Fort Wayne and in Grabill Indiana. The mix of locations and variety during our shoot made for a really fun session.
We started off in downtown Fort Wayne where we really took advantage of all the brick surroundings – Their denim and light blue outfits popped so much against the environment. We even hiked up to the top of the parking garage for photos with the gorgeous skyline of downtown Fort Wayne. These two were up for anything – we love that part of our job.
After a quick outfit change, we headed over to Headwaters Park for some sweet photos – all smiles and laughs from these two. Molly wore an Orange floral romper, complimenting Nick’s blue denim on denim look perfectly.
After we took plenty of photos downtown, we drove over to Molly and Nick’s hometown, Grabill Indiana. We were chasing light too – the sun was getting away from us, but we made it work! The little country town was full of charm and rustic settings. Molly changed into a beautiful white lace dress – the bottom half was sheer! The mix of modern downtown fort Wayne and charming Grabill added so much variety to Molly and Nick’s session. Plus, we love when we get to capture couples where they feel the most comfortable and natural. Once we got to their house in Grabill, it was getting pretty dark, so we decided it was the perfect time for sunset shots! We even got to capture pictures of their sweet pup!
We loved getting to know Molly and Nick and getting to see their hometown in all its charm. Looking forward to your wedding at Union 12 next summer! Already getting excited for it.

Meet Trish and Chase! We went to Chase’s family farm for their engagement photos. Even though it was so cold, these two kept it cozy. The old family barn was the perfect backdrop for our session together as the farm means so much to Chase’s family. It’s where they hunt and hangout together – a special place for sure! We took photos in front of the barn, in the woods, on a wood stack, inside the barn, and in the fields on the property. It was kind of scary climbing around in the old barn – It was super rickety so we had to be extra careful. The pictures were totally worth it though!
These two chose quite a day for their engagement photos. At the time of our session, it was super cold still – really, really cold. Trish wore a dress during the photos… and she didn’t even complain once! It was so cold that we left our cars on with the heat blasting so we could have a warm place to be after standing in the cold for so long. We were bundled up so much – we can’t imagine what Trish felt like in her dress!
Trish and Chase are getting married this summer at Ceruti’s, a large Fort Wayne venue. We are so looking forward to your wedding guys! See you soon.
