Cassie & Matt // Punch Films Wedding

Cassie & Matt // Punch Films Wedding

Cassie and Matt are married! The days’ events were all held at the incredible Punch Films, an industrial wedding venue just north of downtown Fort Wayne. It was an incredible day and we loved capturing it. Read on to hear about some details from their big day and see some of our favorite photos…

Cassie and her girls spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done. Punch films had several smaller rooms that were perfect for getting ready! After hair and makeup, Cassie put her dress on! Each of Cassie’s bridesmaids helped with her veil, shoes, jewelry, and more. After finalizing her full bridal look, Cassie had a first look with her dad – It was so sweet! While the girls got ready, the guys arrived already fully ready to go! Their grey suits matched so nicely with the bridesmaids’ dusty rose dresses. After everyone was ready, we got some photos inside of Cassie and her bridesmaids, then photos of Matt with his groomsmen. Before we knew it, it was ceremony time!

The ceremony location was stunning! Every part of the space had white painted brick, with natural light coming through the warehouse-like windows. It was a beautiful space. At the front, where the ceremony took place, was a geometric archway adorned in gorgeous greenery and flowers by Rose’s Bouquets, a wedding only florist in Fort Wayne. Check it out in the photos below! The ceremony began shortly after all the guests found their seats. One by one, pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen, family members, and Matt walked down the aisle to find their places. Then Cassie walked out from behind the white curtains with her dad and made her way down the aisle. After some sweet vows and an exchange of rings, they kissed and were married!

After the ceremony and during cocktail hour, we got family portraits and wedding party photos knocked out, then we took Cassie and Matt down to Promenade Park for some photos of just the newlyweds! It was a hot summer day, but luckily there was a nice breeze and shade to shelter everyone from the Indiana summer heat. After portraits, we headed back to Punch Films for the reception! The wedding party made their entrances, then Cassie and Matt made their grand entrance as husband and wife! There was a cute cutting, toasts, first dances, and lots and lots of dancing and celebrating!

We had a blast capturing this beautiful wedding day (safely with masks of course)! Punch Films was an incredible location to capture a wedding. Cassie and Matt, we wish you both years of happiness, love, and good health!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Emily & Zach // White Rose Barn Wedding

Emily & Zach // White Rose Barn Wedding

Emily and Zach are married! You may remember these guys from their beautiful Purdue University engagement session, but if not, check them out here (CLICK ME)! Okay… Now that you’ve seen their engagement photos, please enjoy reading about all the sweet, memorable moments from their White Rose Event Center Wedding day! Also, make sure to check out some of our favorite photos below.

Emily and Zach are seriously one of the cutest couples we’ve ever met. They were so genuine and so goofy and sweet. It was a blast capturing their wedding day! We met up with them at the beautiful White Rose Event center, one of the most beautiful barn venues in the area. It was a very warm, beautiful summer day – It could not have been prettier! The girls got ready at a family home, where they shared mimosas and laughs. Once at the venue, the girls headed inside the getting ready house. This is where Emily put on her dress! Her mom and Zach’s mom helped her – It was super sweet. From there, Emily headed into another room to do a first look with her dad, then headed outside so her bridesmaids and sisters could see her full bridal look!

Zach and his groomsmen got ready inside the reception space, where they hung out and prepared for the fun day ahead. Then it was finally time for Emily and Zach’s first look. They met under a beautiful tree near the venue over looking the fields and beautiful property of White Rose. After an incredibly emotional and sweet first look, we took some portraits of these two and their bridal party, then got ready for the ceremony! The ceremony was outside the venue near the edge of the property. There was beautiful arch way covered in flowers and greenery behind Emily and Zach. The two exchanged vows, rings, and kissed! And just like that, after years of waiting, they were officially husband and wife! Now it was time to party.

The reception was great! So many laughs and and moments to capture. The toasts at this wedding probably set the bar for the most incredible surprise we’ve ever witnessed. Two years before the wedding the groom and the bride‘s grandmother write her a letter that he sealed and kept secret until the wedding day. The brides father read it aloud not leaving a dry eye in the house as we heard her deceased grandmother‘s words. It meant so much to her. Not gonna lie, we might have shed a tear or two. It was really one of sweetest moments to witness on their wedding day.

This wedding was super special to us because not only did we get to capture Emily and Zach’s wedding and families, but we also got to see quite a few of our past and future couples! We got to catch up with 2 of our past couples and 1 upcoming couple that we are photographing this year. Including Emily and Zach, that makes 4 Dustin and Corynn brides and grooms at a single wedding – That’s a record!

We loved getting to capture this amazingly sweet wedding day. The White Rose was decked out to perfection, and Emily and Zach were a pleasure to work with. Thank you for trusting us to capture the memories and moments of your wedding day – We love you guys!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

This was a first look for the books. It was so so sweet.

Katie & Andrew // Pine Hills Church Wedding

Katie & Andrew // Pine Hills Church Wedding

Meet Katie & Andrew! This was our first wedding back since Indiana began opening things up. Luckily for everyone involved, these two were able to have the wedding they had originally planned. Read on for details about this sweet Pine Hills Church wedding…

Katie and Andrew got married at Pine Hills Church on the north side of Fort Wayne. We were super excited to learn that their ceremony would be held here because we have never photographed at this church before. The common thread and feel throughout their wedding day was “finally”. After being together for so many amazing years, friends and family were so excited because it just a long time coming. These two finally got to tie the knot, without even changing many wedding plans (… Thanks, COVID). The whole day was filled with a loving family and their awesome Son Jordan. It sure was one awesome day to photograph!

Because this was the first wedding back since things really started to open back up in Indiana, there were lots of nerves and anxiety all around. Katie and Andrew had originally thought they may have to postpone their wedding or change plans last minute. Thankfully their wedding date fell on the Saturday after opening – Everything could go as planned. They hosted the wedding reception at the beautiful Ceruti’s Banquet and Event Center on the Southwest side of Fort Wayne. This venue is really big, which was important to Katie and Andrew so guests could spread out and be comfortable during these trying times. Plus the space is super beautiful (fabric hanging from the ceilings and twinkly lights all around).

The wedding reception was a blast – lots of dancing, lots of really good food, and all-around had a fun atmosphere! We are so happy to share this beautiful Pine Hills Church wedding. We loved capturing this wedding day and we’re so thankful that things are safely opening back up in our awesome home state! We hope you two enjoy your wedding photos for years to come.

P.s. Huge shout out to Big Burrito Creative for creating the most epic wedding video from Katie and Andrew’s wedding day! We’ve attached it below at the end of the photos!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Izabella & Kris // Intimate Michigan Wedding

Izabella & Kris // Intimate Michigan Wedding

Izabella and Kris are married! We met up with these two at the beautiful Res-Les Farms in Michigan. Before you read about their beautiful intimate Michigan wedding, check out their engagement session from last summer (CLICK ME). It was a perfect sunny day, just like on their wedding day!

We met Izabella and Kris at one of our weddings in September of 2018. Izabella was in Veldina and Ismir’s wedding party (See if you can spot her in any of their photos HERE)! As soon as they were engaged, we knew we wanted to capture their engagement and wedding. That’s why we were so excited when they called and booked with us!

Despite everything with COVID-19 and restrictions on large gatherings, Izabella and Kris were still able to have an awesome wedding day filled with friends, family, and the sweetest of memories. The day’s events were all held at the beautiful Res-Les Farms in Michigan where these two got ready, got married, and celebrated! It was such an awesome venue!

Izabella got ready with her girls in the bridal suite at the venue! When hair and makeup was all finished, Izabella’s mom helped her into her beautiful white, sparkly, tulle dress! Before we knew it, it was ceremony time! Family and friends found their seats, then the bridal party walked. Kris waited at the front of the altar for his bride! Izabella and her mom walked down the aisle towards Kris and the ceremony began! The two exchanged vows, rings, and did a sand ceremony together. They were pronounced as husband and wife and kissed for the first time as Mr. and Mrs..

After the ceremony, we walked around the venue’s property for some portraits. Of course, we captured the wedding party and all of their awesomeness, then took some portraits of the newlyweds. Everyone headed inside the main venue space for food, toasts, and some dancing. Each of the toasts were emotional and sweet and funny in all of the best ways – We’re pretty sure that everyone in the room were simultaneously laughing and crying. It was an aweomse thing to witness.

As the sun set beyond the trees, we went outside with Izabella & Kris for a few more photos. It was sunny and warm, with a slight breeze – I don’t think we’ll ever forget this sweet wedding.

We are so thankful that Izabella and Kris were able to host their intimate Michigan wedding during this crazy time and even more thankful that we got to capture it all! We hope you both love looking back on your wedding photos and reminiscing on such a special day. We love you guys! Wishing you many both years of health and happiness.

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Vedder Family // Lake Family Photography

Vedder Family // Lake Family Photography

Meet the Vedder family! We met up with this growing family at their lake home. The weather was perfect and everyone was dressed so nicely. Read along as we share our favorite moments and photos from this sweet lake family session…

This growing family is awesome! There are already three grandkids and another two are on the way! During the session, the two older kids were being hams for the camera – loving every second and being absolute goofballs. The little one.. well, it was his nap time. Those of us with kids no how kiddos can be when it comes to naps and sleep schedules. Lucky for us, his big brother knew exactly what to do to get him smiling. We also had to include the family dogs. I mean, what family session is complete without our fuzzy four legged friends?

We are so looking forward to capturing this sweet family for years to come. Next time we photograph them, there will be 2 more babies! We can’t wait.

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn

Big brother saving the day! He knew exactly what to do to get his little brother to laugh. Cousins are the best!

There are two baby bumps in these photos! Each of these little families are expected a new bundle of joy this year! How exciting!

The little man in the middle was only content in Grandpa’s arms. How sweet is that?

The kiddos were being so silly during the session – We love when we get to capture their personalities and silliness.

We had to include the dogs of course! It wouldn’t be family photos without them.

Gwen & Brandon // Intimate Fort Wayne Wedding

Gwen & Brandon // Intimate Fort Wayne Wedding

Gwen and Brandon got married! What seemed like a long time coming, the day finally came. We are thrilled to share details and some of our favorite photos from this sweet, intimate Fort Wayne wedding. Get ready!

We met Gwen through our studio manager, Lily. Lily married Gwen’s brother in December of 2018 – We’ve been dreaming of capturing her wedding ever since! We were so excited when Gwen and Brandon contacted us to capture their wedding day. While plans changed quite a few times because of the virus, their wedding ended up being the most sweet and romantic weddings we’ve been a part of.

We met up with Gwen and her awesome bridal party at her parents villa. They had spent the morning doing their hair, getting coffee and tea, and gathering things for the big day – We photographed Gwen’s beautiful wedding dress here and snapped a few details of her jewelry and their rings. When it was time, we all headed over to her brother’s house, where the wedding ceremony and reception were hosted. Gwen and her bridesmaids headed downstairs to the oh-so-cutely decorated basement to do their makeup, get dressed, and steam the bro-of-honor and dude-of-honor’s clothes!

Before Brandon and his guys got back from playing baseball all morning, Gwen got into her wedding dress! Her mom and bridesmaids helped her with buttons and details. After she was done getting ready, the girls headed downstairs to hide away until the ceremony. Brandon and his guys arrived looking ever so spiffy in their floral ties and matching white shirts. After guests were seated, the ceremony began!

Pair by pair, each groomsmen and bridesmaid walked down the aisle. Brandon showed a large range of emotions from nervous to excited to happy, but he was nothing but happy when he saw Gwen. Gwen made her way outside and down the aisle towards Brandon, smiling from cheek to cheek. The two exchanged vows, exchanged rings, and took part in a foot washing ceremony to symbolize service to the other. After a prayer, Gwen and Brandon sealed the deal with a kiss!

After the ceremony, everyone grabbed a quick drink then it was time for some wedding party photos! We walked over to the Indian Trails park for photos then headed back for dinner, toasts, and dancing. Family and friends sat around several round tables sharing and catching up after many weeks in quarantine. After everyone had dinner, toasts began. First was from the Father of the Bride, then the groom’s sister, and the last was from the Bride’s brother, Jace. His toast especially left most people, including us, in tears! The sun began to set on this sweet evening and the dancing began!

This wedding was one of the sweetest and most intimate weddings we’ve had the pleasure of capturing. We’re not sure if it was because of the beautiful location overlooking the pond, the lack of chaos that usually ensues on a wedding day, or because we knew this family so well before hand, but it was such a special wedding to capture and be a part of. We hope you enjoy viewing our favorite photos from this intimate Fort Wayne wedding.

Gwen and Brandon – We wish you guys the best of luck as you prepare to move to North Carolina and start this new adventure of being married. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day.

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
