Meet Meg and Nick! We have known Meg for quite awhile – We photographed her sister Ellie’s wedding! See if you can spot Meg in any of their wedding photos (CLICK ME). This Fort Wayne Country Club wedding was so fun to capture – We love when we get the opportunity to work with the same family again. Keep reading on to learn about all the details from this sweet day and to see Meg and Nick’s wedding photos!
You may not recognize these two, and that’s because we weren’t able to do an engagement session with them! Nick is in the military, so coordinating travel plans across the country for an engagement session proved to be difficult. Rather than adding any stress on to wedding planning, we all decided it would be best if we kept things as simple as possible. They ended up having someone local do their engagement photos, while we capture their big day!
Their day started at the beautiful Fort Wayne country club. This venue is one of our favorites because of all of the awesome amenities it offers on a wedding day. From awesome getting ready spaces to amazing food, the Fort Wayne Country Club has it all. Meg had her hair and makeup done, then her mom helped her into her dress. Of course, she was surround by her sister Ellie and her other bridesmaids. They wore beautiful maroon colored bridesmaids dress, all different styles. After Meg was completely ready, she headed outside to where Nick was waiting for her – Time for the first look! Meg walked up behind Nick, tapped him on the shoulder, and they both smiled from ear to ear. It was about as cute as could be! Nick was wowed!
After the first look at the Fort Wayne Country Club, we all headed over to the beautiful Allen County Courthouse for the ceremony in the party bus. The courthouse is one of Fort Wayne’s most beautiful places to get married. From art mural covered ceilings to grand marble pillars, the courthouse has a charming and historic atmosphere perfect for any wedding ceremony. Before the ceremony, we took a few photos upstairs at the courthouse, then everyone headed to the first floor for the ceremony. Once every was in place, Meg and her dad walked down the aisle. Meg and Nick met at the front, made vows, exchanged rings, and kissed! They’re husband and wife!
After the ceremony, we headed around to a couple different spots in downtown Fort Wayne – the golden doors of the Lincoln Tower and Bank, in front of the courthouse, and by one of Fort Wayne’s many art murals. Before finishing up wedding party pictures, Meg and Nick popped some bottles of champagne to ring in their new marriage (see the adorable pictures below). After portrait time, we all headed back to the awesome Fort Wayne Country Club where guests were waiting for their arrival!
Once everyone made it to Fort Wayne Country Club, the wedding party made their grand, and funny, entrances. Meg and Nick were announced as Mr. and Mrs. and found their way to the cake table! After a sweet cake cutting, Meg’s dad gave an awesome welcome toast. Dinner was served, then Meg’s sister Ellie and Nick’s best man gave two awesome speeches. After this, Meg and Nick plated the shoe game, which drew many laughs and sweet moments. The dance floor opened soon after and their friends and families danced all evening long!
It was a wonderful day and super fun reception. We loved capturing Meg and Nick’s Fort Wayne Country Club wedding – what a fun day! We hope you enjoy your wedding photos for years to come!

Kayleen and Rob are married! You may remember these two from their super adorable, styled engagement session. No? Well, click here and you can see how cute this nurse and firefighter are! (CLICK ME). Their engagement session was a blast, so we knew their Goeglein Homestead Wedding would be too! Read on to learn about all the special details from their big day! Here we go…
The day’s events were located at the beautiful Goeglein Homestead in Fort Wayne. This venue offers a ton on a wedding day! From getting ready rooms, to exposed brick walls, this venue has it all! They even have a pretty outdoor area for the ceremony. Kayleen spent the morning getting her makeup done by the wonderful Red Stiletto. After getting ready, it was time for her to put on her dress. Kayleen’s bridesmaids surrounded her while her mom helped her into her dress. While Kayleen was getting ready with her bridesmaids, Rob was getting ready with his groomsmen on the other floor.
After getting ready, we took Kayleen and her bridesmaids outside for some wedding party photos. After we finished up photographing the girls, we took Rob and his groomsmen out for some photos too. We love when we get the opportunity to capture some portraits before the ceremony because we see all of the excitement and nerves beforehand. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony!
The ceremony was decorated beautifully with grand floral arrangements by Rose’s Bouquets, a Fort Wayne wedding only florist. One by one, pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle towards Rob. Once everyone was in place, it as time for Kayleen to walk. As everyone stood, Kayleen and her dad walked down the aisle arm in arm waiting to marry her best friend. Kayleen and Rob promised to love each other foreer, kissed, and were married!
After the ceremony, we took some family and couple portraits by the AWESOME firetruck – This is just the cutest little family! We walked around to several locations on Goeglein homestead property, capturing Kayleen, Rob, and their super fun wedding party. They even danced during pictures! This was a very fun bunch of people. After portraits, we all headed inside for the reception in the upstairs portion of the venue: high ceilings, white lights handing from the ceiling, and beams from wall to wall, this venue was stunning! After the wedding party made their grand entrances, everyone took their seats and listened to some awesome toasts from the maid of honor and best man.
After the first dances and a hilarious “his and hers” voting game, dancing started! There were so many friends, family, and kids dancing throughout the evening. We loved capturing this Goeglein Homestead Wedding. We hope you guys enjoy your wedding photos for years to come – Best of luck to your new family and marriage!

Remember Sara and Tim from their beautiful Indianapolis engagement session? Well if not, click here (CLICK ME) to read up on these two and see all their photos. They got married! We have been itching to share this adorable Marvis Arts Center wedding. Read their about their engagement session first though – You won’t regret it!
The day’s events, were all located at the beautiful and historic Mavris Arts and Event Center in Indianapolis. This industrial 1883 building, now a stellar wedding venue, offers many spaces for getting ready and hosting a wedding, even a rooftop hangout space for guests during cocktail hour. Sara got ready with her close friends and family in the bridal suite while Tim got ready in the “man cave” on the first floor of the event center – Both were awesome spaces. Sara had her hair and makeup done by friends – The whole day was oriented purposely towards the people they love. Sara and Tim didn’t officially have bridesmaids and groomsmen, just friends and family that really know how to have a good time celebrating with them on their wedding day.
When Sara was little, she made a sweet wish that her aunt would make her wedding dress some day. Well, that wish came true! Sara’s aunt made a beautiful blush, tulle dress that fulfilled every bride’s dream of being a princess on her wedding day. After her aunt placed the family coin and lace handkerchief in her dress, Sara put on her dress. She was surrounded once again by all of the people she cares most about in life (except Tim of course – Can’t spoil that first look). After Sara had her wedding dress and jewelry on, Sara and her dad had a sweet first look. His face was priceless.
After this first look and many hugs from friends and family, it was time for Sara and Tim to have their first look. Sara and Tim held hands, back to back to a beam in the beautiful historic venue hall. They turned towards each other and ooh’d and aw’d. Sara did a few twirls for Tim in her dress, they hugged and kissed, then it was portrait time! We captured the two of them in several locations in and around the Marvis and under an over pass where there were cars! These two daredevils were willing to do anything for pictures – It was great!
After some portraits, it was time for the ceremony! After guests were seated, Sara’s dad walked her down the aisle. Sara and Tim met at the front of the aisle, completed a bourbon mixing ceremony, promised to love each other forever, and kissed! Then they throw on some sunglasses and cheered and smiled all down the aisle. It was a scary unique ceremony, special to them as a couple.
After the ceremony, Sara and Tim signed their marriage license, of course. The only people in the room, however were the bride, groom, bartender, and us! So Corynn signed their license as a witness. That was a first for us!
Cocktail hour took place on the beautiful rooftop patio at the Marvis. After a few more pictures, Sara and Tim headed up there to greet all of their guests and hangout. Then everyone headed inside for toast, food, and dancing. The reception was a blast. Here are a few things they did differently to shake up the typical wedding traditions!
1. Instead of garter and bouquet tosses, they raffled off a leg lamp and Beauty and the Beast inspired bouquet – which was absolutely hilarious.
2. Sara and Tim sat a huge table with many of their guests instead of a sweetheart table or with their wedding party.
3. At the end of the day, they just wanted to throw a big party with their friends and family. They wanted a special day with special people – mission accomplished!
This wedding was so much fun. The Mavris staff was amazing: no detail was forgotten and everyone was taken care of wonderfully. This Marvis Art Center Wedding was a blast to capture – We hope you both enjoy these photos for years to come!
– Dustin & Corynn
If you look closely, you can see a list of family names in the photo on the right. All of the married girls in Sara’s family carried this lace handkerchief and coin with them on their wedding days – what a family tradition!
This is the aunt that made Sara’s dress! How sweet!
Sara and her dad’s first look. The look on his face was the sweetest.
Bourbon ceremony! Sara and Tim added so many personal touches to their wedding day – It was so fun to capture.
Raffle Time! Rather than doing traditional garter and bouquet tosses, Sara and Tim decided instead to auction off a leg lamp and a Beauty and the Beast styled bouquet! How fun… These two made the whole day unique to them as a couple, and it was AWESOME.
End of the night capture of the beautiful Indianapolis Skyline. How awesome is the venue?

Introducing the awesome, and now married, Marita and Kyle! Our awesome team of associate photographers captured their beautiful Grand Wayne Center wedding. You’re going to love reading about this awesome day… Get ready for the sweetness below!
Their big day started at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Fort Wayne. Marita and her tribe of bridesmaids got ready in the presidential suite at the Hilton, while Kyle and his groomsmen got ready just down the hall in another suite. The talented Red Stiletto did all of the hair and makeup on the wedding day – Marita and her bridesmaids looked like princesses! While the girls got ready, there was a sweet mimosa bar, snacks of all kinds, and some crazy fun songs playing – It was an awesome space to get ready in! After Marita’s bridesmaids got dressed, Marita slipped into her beautiful, sparkly, a-line wedding dress. Marita’s mom helped her into the dress, while her sisters helped her with the accessories and final details. Meanwhile, Kyle and his groomsmen got dressed and enjoyed the football game! After putting in the veil, Marita headed downstairs in the hotel lobby to have a first look with her dad. Kyle and his groomsmen walked over to the first look location, the Cathedral by the Botanical Conservatory. After Kyle was in place, Marita walked over there, came up behind him, and tapped his shoulder. They met eyes and beamed with happiness.
After their first look and some portrait time, we gathered up the wedding party and took some fun group photos. This is always such an awesome part of the day because we get to see everyone’s personalities emerge as they joke around with each other – It’s a blast. After taking some photos in front of the Cathedral, we walked across the street to capture the wedding party of the botanical conservatory. It was under construction, but we worked around it! After photos here, we went over to the Grand Wayne Center, where the reception would later be held, for some more photos. After this, we all headed over to the first Presbyterian church. Everyone had some time to relax before the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautiful! The pews were full of friends and family and the atmosphere was filled with love. One by one, bridesmaids and groomsmen walked down the aisle. After everyone was in place, Marita and her dad walked. Marita’s dad gave her away to Kyle, then the ceremony began. These two made some sweet promises, exchanged rings, and kissed! They were officially husband and wife! After the receiving line, we all headed over to Harrison Street for some photos in front of the small courthouse. Then it was time to party!
The reception was at the Grand Wayne Center in downtown Fort Wayne in the Anthony Wayne Hall. It was decorated so beautifully: white fabric and lights hung from the ceiling across the entire hall. The dance floor was set in the middle of the space, with the head tables at the back. After the wedding party’s grand entrance, Marita and Kyle headed to the center of the dance floor to cut their cake, then everyone took a seat for dinner. While dinner was being served, Marita’s maid of honor and sister gave a beautiful toast. It honored their late Grandmother and made nearly everyone in the room tear up. After that sweet toast, Kyle’s best man and long time friend gave a hilarious toast, mentioning quite a few stories that made the whole room laugh. After toasts were the first dances. After some dancing, Marita had a little surprise up her sleeve. She got on the mic and announced “happy birthday” to her sister Caroline and her mom. Marita had a birthday cake for them and made them come out on the dance floor while the DJ played a happy birthday song. After this, the two blew out their candles and all the guests joined them on the dance floor to sing “Sweet Caroline” together. It was a really sweet moment to capture.
Everyone danced the whole night! At some point during the evening, we snuck Marita and Kyle outside the Grand Wayne Center for some night shots. It was a beautiful day and super fun evening. We hope you both enjoy these photos for years to come! We loved getting to capture your Grand Wayne Center Wedding – We wish you both the best on this new journey of marriage!

Click here to see how these two met and see all of the adorable-ness of their engagement session (CLICK ME). The Sunken Gardens in Huntington was such a beautiful location for their engagement photos – Better go check them out! Well, now that you’ve read their engagement blog, please enjoy reading about the details of Tonya and Drew’s GORGEOUS Rose Garden Wedding. It was seriously awesome…
We learned that Tonya is a masterful wedding planner! Before getting ready for the day, Tonya orchestrated all of the decorating and details at Ceruti’s – Every detail was purposeful and beautiful, down to the centerpieces and head table decor. Tonya had everything put together beautifully for their big day. She even created the floral arrangements herself (Check out her bouquet… it’s to die for!). Tonya and her bridesmaids got ready at Ceruti’s, where the reception would later be held. Most people don’t realize that Ceruti’s has a wonderful getting ready area for brides on the wedding day! After finishing hair and makeup, Tonya slipped on her dress while surrounded by her awesome bridesmaids. After both Tonya and Drew were ready, we all headed over to the beautiful Lakeside Park to capture a very sweet first look.
When Tonya arrived, we made sure Drew had his blindfold on and was in place. Tonya walked right up to him, took the blindfold off, and threw it right into the wind. These two could not stop looking at each other. Smiling, holding hands, laughing – all day long! After some sweet first look action, we capture the wedding party with Tonya and Drew and did some family portraits as well. Then it was ceremony time!
The ceremony was at the beautiful Rose Garden at Lakeside Park. One by one, bridesmaids, flower girls, and ring bearers walked down the aisle by the beautiful water feature at the park. Then it was time for Tonya to walk! All eyes were on Tonya as she glides down the aisle. Her eyes met with Drew’s and the rest is history! They shared vows, completed a sand ceremony, and exchanged rings! Tonya and Drew were pronounced husband and wife, and kissed! Then the cheered and smiled the whole way down the aisle.
After the ceremony, guests headed to the reception while Tonya, Drew, their family, and wedding party stayed at the Rose Gardens. You can’t go wrong with the beautiful landscape and architecture there. Everything was landscaped so beautifully – it was perfect for portraits! After family portraits and some of Tonya and Drew, we hopped on the trolley and headed over to one of Fort Wayne’s beautiful art murals along Columbia Street! We captured the wedding party here, then it was time to head back over to Ceruti’s!
Tonya and Drew had a super fun reception. Everything was decorated beautifully and guests were having so much fun. Tonya and Drew spent the evening with friends and family, celebrating their new marriage to the fullest! Dancing, toasts, dinner, and cake – The reception was a blast. At the end of the night, the sky was gorgeous – We just had to sneak these two out for some epic sunset photos. The weather was perfect, the timing couldn’t be better, and the sunset could be more awesome! We loved capturing Tonya and Drew’s Rose Garden Wedding. We hope that you both enjoy your photos for years to come. Best wishes to you guys!

Cheers before the ceremony! How sweet is this blindfolded first look? These two were all smiles! One of their adorable ring bearers was the first one to the garter. He was so excited! Jenna and Wesley’s wedding was so much fun! If you didn’t already know, we know Wesley from high school. If you’d like to learn more about this sweet couple (how they met, how we know them, and how their engagement session went), read this blog (CLICK ME)! You can also look at their engagement photos and see how adorable they are. As we were saying, this Carmel wedding was awesome. The families, the joining of these two awesome people, the sweet Mustang, and fun wedding party. Here’s some highlights and details from Jenna and Wesley’s big day…
Their day started at the beautiful Cornerstone Lutheran Church. This church is super important to them – They met and started a young adults bible study together there. How cool is that? Jenna and her bridesmaids wore comfy robes all morning while they got ready for the day. After their hair and makeup was done, it was time for Jenna to put on her dress! All of Jenna’s bridesmaids gathered around her while her maid of honor helped her into the dress. Jenna’s bridesmaids wore all different styles of navy dresses, all paired with sparkly jewelry! Hair? Check. Makeup? Check. Dress? Check! Once they were all ready and before Jenna and Wesley’s first look, we took the girls outside the church for some photos together. This is where Jenna added all of her final details – jewelry, shoes, and garter!
After Wesley and his groomsmen were ready, he and Jenna had their first look in the sanctuary where they would be married in just a little bit! After exchanging small gifts, Jenna had one more surprise for Wesley. She handed him some keys (see the moment in the photos below) to a super slick, silver convertible GT Mustang. It. Was. Awesome. Needless to say, Wesley loved the surprise. After relaxing for a little bit, it was ceremony time!
This ceremony was especially cool because three of Jenna and Wesley’s family members were involved in it. Wesley’s own dad married them – how cool! One by one, bridesmaids walked down the aisle as well as some super sweet flower girls (also wearing little navy dresses). After everyone was in place, Jenna and her dad walked down the aisle. Meeting eyes, Jenna and Wesley were so, so excited! After saying some super sweet vows and exchanging rings, these two kissed and we’re married! They smiled ear to ear the whole way down the aisle. After the ceremony, they hugged and thanked every one of their guests and family. It was an awesome time. After greeting guests, everyone headed outside to send the couple off… in that awesome mustang.
After driving off, they came back to the church for some photos. We headed inside for some family portraits, but when it came time to capture the wedding party, we headed outside! We took some awesome photos of the wedding party and of the newlyweds – It was a blast! We started at the church then finished off portrait time at some old silos. After photos, it was time for the reception!
The reception was at the beautiful Palomino Ballroom. This venue offered an awesome dance floor, lots of natural light, and plenty of space to entertain guests. The bridal party made their entrance, found their seats, and then it was time to cut the cake! Dinner was served, toasts were said, and there was a lot of dancing – including an awesome dancing train led by the bride herself! After dancing and celebrating with their friends and family, these two had an awesome glow stick exit. As they took off in that sweet mustang, everyone cheered and waved. It was an epic and memorable day with a lot of really awesome people. This Carmel wedding was a blast to photograph! Thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding day – Best of luck to the newlyweds!
