Meet Christina and Rachel! Last year, we met up them to discuss wedding plans and get things going for planning. Since then, we have been so eager to get them in front of our cameras! We FINALLY got to this week. They killed their downtown summer engagement session with us – Read on for details and photos!
These two contacted us for one of the most popular days of the 2020 wedding season and got it booked right away. Christina is quite the planner – She has awesome binders full of wedding planning information and is on top of every detail. Christina is also extremely bubbly and kind hearted and Rachel has the coolest energy there is, which is just the cherry on top of why we love our awesome brides. And that’s why we are pumped that they chose our photo team to capture their wedding day!
We met up with Rachel and Christina by our favorite art mural covered alley way in Fort Wayne! From there, we just took photos of these two talking, and walking, and just being them. We stopped at a few of our favorite spots in the area, then headed to headwaters park for the later half of their session. Right before the session, it decided to rain! So we stood outside a coffee shop until it stopped. We knew we were going to be dealing with rain going into the session that morning, but prior to this, we had to reschedule their session several times, so knew we had to wait out the storms and rock with it! As we were finishing up photos, we saw some dark clouds roll in. Sure enough, as soon as we packed up and left the session, it poured down! We are so thankful for the break between the storms so we could capture Rachel and Christina’s engagement and not have to reschedule again!
Our awesome associates Lily and Michele will be capturing Christina and Rachel’s big day at the awesome 3 Fat Labs wedding venue in Greencastle, Indiana. It’s a gorgeous new barn venue, so we can’t wait to photograph there for the first time. We hope you enjoyed reading about this sweet downtown summer engagement and seeing the photos too!
