Happy New Year! As the first blog of 2020, we would like to share our last wedding of 2019. Courtney and Matt got married on a beautiful, warm December day – This Fort Wayne winter wedding was romantic, fun, and special. Before you read about their wedding, check out their engagement first (CLICK ME). Details and photos are below!
Courtney and Matt’s day began at the United Methodist Church in New Haven, Indiana. Courtney spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids and all the other important women in her life. There was food, cheers, and lots of laughs from this fun group. Everyone was simply cheerful and ready for Courtney and Matt’s big day. After Courtney was completely ready, she had a first look with her dad. And of course, it was very sweet! In another part of the church, Matt and his guys relaxed and eventually got dressed in their suave wedding day attire. Matt’s suit jacket was different from his groomsmen! It had an awesome paisley design, while his groomsmen wore black. Courtney’s bridesmaids wore red dresses, perfect for the holiday season.
Before the ceremony, we were able to knock out photos of Courtney with her bridesmaids and some of the family portraits! Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! Friends and family gathered in the pews and waited in excitement for Courtney to walk down the aisle. Eventually, it was time! Courtney and her dad met Matt at the end of the aisle and the ceremony commenced. The two made their vows, kissed, and were married!
After the ceremony, we went outside the church for portraits of the newlyweds and for wedding party photos! We went inside the church shortly after for additional family portraits, then took some night portraits on the sweet streets of downtown New Haven and at a park with pretty Christmas lights. The reception was just down the street! Courtney, Matt, and their wedding party made their entrances, found their seats, ate dinner, and shared some awesome toasts. Family and friends danced and celebrated all evening long. One groomsman even split his pants dancing! It was a small and intimate reception full of love and joy.
This Fort Wayne winter wedding was nothing but romantic and fun! Courtney and Matt were so laid back and fun – an absolute pleasure to work with. We are so honored to have a been a part of Courtney and Matt’s big day, and we are so excited to share some photos. We wish you both happiness and love! Happy New Year to our latest newlyweds!
Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
