Meet Elise and Peter, one of our amazing 2020 couples! We had the awesome privilege of capturing this fun Arizona Mountain Wedding. You can view all of their wedding photos here (CLICK ME), but our favorite moments are in the photos below. We also had an awesome time working alongside Daniel Martinez Hernandez, Elise and Peter’s wedding videographer (instagram: @shotbytruly). Read on for all the details of this sweet Arizona wedding.
The day’s events were held at The Paseo, an awesome wedding venue that sits near the Superstition Mountains and the Sonoran Desert. It has awesome getting ready spaces as well as picturesque views, a modern and stylish facility, and a stellar staff. Elise spent the morning getting ready with her favorite people. After getting her hair and makeup done, Elise put on her dress with her mom and bridesmaids. She paired her dress with simple accessories for an effortless glam bridal look. As everyone finished getting ready, guests began to arrive. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! The florals were delivered before the ceremony and were absolutely stunning. J Barry Designs created such beautiful arrangements for Elise and Peter’s wedding day.
Guests found their seats, then Elise made her way down the aisle towards the love of her life. The two exchanged vows, performed a candle lighting ceremony, kissed, and broke a glass, a common Jewish tradition, to symbolize the foreverness of their marriage! As guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the patio, Elise and Peter signed their marriage license and captured family portraits. During cocktail hour, Elise and Peter added a super sweet addition to their wedding day… A Wedding Burro, courtesy of Haul N Ass Productions. Afterwards, we had a little portrait time with the wedding party and then some portrait time with Elise and Peter. Then it was time to party!
Reception time! The cocktail hour ended and guests made their way inside the main event space at The Paseo. Everything was decorated beautifully by Lace and a Barn. The food for the evening was catered by San Tan Brewing Company (which was so good). The wedding cake and other desserts were made by Piece of Cake Desserts – check out some of their other wedding cakes here (CLICK ME)! There were toasts, a singing performance, and tons of awesome dancing. As added entertainment at the reception, there was even a photo booth with fun props and an awesome backdrop, courtesy of Snap Booth in Arizona. It was one heck of celebration if we do say so ourselves. The DJ, Downtown Browne Productions (DJ Tempo Tim), had every guest on their feet and on the dance floor. It was a party!
It was an honor to capture this beautiful Arizona Mountain Wedding. Elise, Peter, their friends, and family were all so awesome to work with. We loved getting to visit your beautiful state and capture your wedding day. We hope you enjoy these photos for years to come. We wish you guys many years of a happy marriage!
Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
