Jordan and Ruby are married! Photographing this wedding and getting to travel across some of the most beautiful parts of Europe was a dream come true – We are beyond thankful for the adventure that was Jordan and Ruby’s wedding. Read on to learn more about this stunning French destination wedding and see some of our favorite pictures!

Business Connection Turned Friendship

We met Jordan through our other amazing company Art Home Photo, where we capture his real estate marketing! It was through this endeavor that we got to know Jordan and meet his sweet fiancé, Ruby. We’ve been taking photos of them (and their sweet pets) for years now, so when they asked us to travel with them on a beautiful 10-day journey across Europe to photograph their wedding, we obviously said yes!

Time in Paris

In classic Jordan and Ruby fashion, they couldn’t just have a regular ol’ midwest wedding. They chose to embark on a european adventure with 10 of their closest friends to get married in the french countryside. We started the trip in Paris, where we cartwheeled at the louvre and explored museums and cathedrals. It was then that we took a bullet train to the French Countryside. There were rivers, waterfalls, windmills, and there was beautiful wisteria everywhere we looked (if you don’t know what wisteria is, here you go)!

The Venue in the French Countryside

Jordan and Ruby rented and entire Chateau that was built in the 14th century! This is where the wedding ceremony was held and where all guests stayed. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience! Jordan and Ruby even hired a private chef, who happened to be a former chef for the Queen of England. It was the best food we have ever eaten, and we could not have asked for better company in which to enjoy it with.

The Wedding

The wedding itself was incredible. The entire property was covered in picturesque gardens and had views of the castle-like chateau everywhere you looked. Something you need to know about Ruby is that she is an animal lover to the max! You’ll see in some of the photos below her love for animals – how cute are the horses? Speaking of Ruby, she was absolutely stunning in her dress. The girls wore red velvet dresses and guys wore suits with red bow ties! The reception portion of the evening included live music, lots dancing, and beyond amazing food. Every guest gave a sweet toast to Jordan and Ruby as they start this new journey of marriage. Best part of the night by far was when some of Jordan’s groomsmen got on the mic and guitar and sang the night away! These were truly memories for a lifetime.

European Adventure

After their gorgeous French countryside wedding, we all embarked on the last leg of the journey: Greece! You may be asking yourself, did you guys go on the honeymoon with Jordan & Ruby? The answer is yes! We went to Athens where we all had arguably the best meal of our lives. It was Grandma ran and operated, so you know it was good! After exploring grecian ruins, we went to the island of Mykonos where we explored, relaxed, and took more photos of Jordan and Ruby on the coast. We all stayed and incredible and luxurious airbnb, and the wedding festivities and travels came to an end.
