Catherine and Brian are married! Their Hotel Covington Wedding right on the Ohio River was absolutely beautiful. The cherry on top of the day for us was getting to see Brian’s family again! Getting Ready…

For everyone, the day started at the Hotel Covington, a beautiful hotel and venue spot located just over the river across from Cincinnati. If you remember, we photographed Catherine and Brian’s sweet engagement session in Cincinnati last year (You can see those photos here if you’ve forgotten!)Hotel Covington is designed with historic charm and modern character, making a gorgeous space for portraits. You can those pictures below!

Vendor Appreciation + Ceremony…

While getting ready for the day, the amazing team at Eve Floral Co. delivered the most beautiful floral arrangements for the day. The bouquets were to die for – so gorgeous! They were so thoughtful too, brining extra flowers for our detail photos. Not to mention, the floral arrangements in the reception area added such a romantic softness to the room. We loved working with Eve Floral Co.!

After everyone was ready for the day’s events, we were able to photograph some bridal portraits in the beautiful hotel lobby. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony! The ceremony was an amazing exchange of love, prayer, and devotion. Catherine and Brian kissed, and were officially husband and wife!

Portraits by the River…

The wedding party hopped into an awesome bus for portraits after the ceremony. It drove all of us up the hill that overlooked the Cincinnati skyline! The wedding party was nothing short of awesome. They were all really easy to work with and fun and super into the photos! once we arrived back to the wedding venue and hotel, the wedding party relaxed a little while we did some solo portrait time with Catherine and Brian. There was this gorgeous brick alley between the hotel and the venue, so made sure to fully take advantage of that area. Just see for yourself below!

Party Time…

The remainder of the day was filled with an awesome party. There were really sweet toasts – one of which included an extremely sweet story about Brian. Growing up, he would give her older sister (our awesome bride Sara from last year) flowers every valentines day until she found her person. It takes a very kind and thoughtful person to do things like that for family. There was dancing too, of course. We were even able to sneak out from the reception to snag some last portraits of Catherine and Brian before the evening wrapped up.

A little not on the reception area.. It was beyond beautiful. The main dancing area had a glass ceiling that added a modern touch to the space – just see for yourself in the photos below! This modern space with the added floral touches from Eve Floral Co. made for a wow reception and party.

This family, our couple, were a blast to work with again. Catherine and Brian’s Hotel Covington wedding was a day we will not soon forget. It was filled with laughs, genuine love, and memories to last a lifetime. To our awesome couple, thank you for trusting us to capture one of the most important days of your lives! Until next time…
