Swan Lake was a beautiful backdrop for this gorgeous wedding. Kayla and Ben started off their mornings in some of the beautiful suites at the resort, Kayla and her girls in the bridal suite and Ben with his guys in another suite. While the guys hung out and relaxed, Kayla and her bridal party spent the morning getting their hair and makeup was done by the awesome Red Stiletto Artistry out of Fort Wayne. They are the best on-site makeup and hair team ever! Before getting dressed, the girls popped some bubbly on the patio – It was so cute! Once everyone was ready, Kayla did a super sweet first look with her dad. These are always some of the sweetest moments of a wedding day.

Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. Kayla and Ben chose to not to see each other before it, so you can imagine (and see in the photos below) how sweet of a moment seeing each other was! They got married in the gazebo underneath beautiful towering trees and landscaped gardens at Swan Lake. And we have to mention the gorgeous floral installations by Rose’s Bouquets, a Fort Wayne wedding only florist. It was such a stunning ceremony and setting. Kayla and Ben read vows, exchanged rings, and kissed! The two were officially husband and wife. We’ll let the photos tell the rest!

After the ceremony and family portraits, we took Kayla, Ben, and their wedding party out for some incredible photos around the golf course at Swan Lake Resort. We were on the hunt for beautiful fall trees and found them! These were some of our favorite fall photos of the season. After wedding party portraits, we did some portrait time with the newlyweds. They were so easy to work with. They were so comfortable in front of the camera, shared tons of chemistry, and laughed a bunch, making photos easy as pie.

Following portrait time with an awesome reception in Swan Lake Resorts ballroom. You almost forgot that you were in the middle of farmland in Indiana – It felt like a 5-star hotel in Chicago. After a great dinner, some toasts, and the first dances, everyone kicked the night off with the awesome Jason from Quattro Systems DJs. Rather than serving the traditional wedding cake, they served slushy Italian ice! Yum!

Kayla and Ben’s Swan Lake Resort wedding was an autumn dream! We loved capturing their big day and seeing all of the love their families shared for each other. We wish you two nothing but love and happiness as you start this new path of marriage. We love you guys!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
