Lindsey & Andrew // Allen County Courthouse Wedding

Here they are – Lindsey and Andrew! A favorite Fort Wayne wedding of ours. These took the long way around to their wedding, starting from childhood! Lindsay and Andrew were friends a large part of their lives. They went to high school together and saw each other every day, but they remained friends. After high school, they found each other attending Indiana University, together again. This time, just like a modern fairy tale, love blossomed. The two became one at a beautiful ceremony photographed by yours truly, Dustin & Corynn (CLICK TO SEE PHOTOS).

The wedding took place at the Allen County Courthouse in downtown Fort Wayne. The Courthouse features a dramatic lobby and staircase that is perfect for weddings. Our bride and groom dressed in separate rooms at the Fort Wayne Hilton and then took separate vehicles to the Courthouse. Lindsay wore a sleeveless, full-length trumpet-style gown with a cathedral length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley provided by Rose’s Bouquets of Fort Wayne. Lindsay was attended by three bridesmaids wearing charcoal-gray gowns with pink roses.

Their arrival made for great photographs as did the procession and the ceremony. We were faced with a demonstration at the same time as the wedding. However, we handled this situation with ease and the ceremony and pictures were taken without interruption. The couple wrote their own vows, and this caused most people in the crowd to become teary-eyed, including our photographers. The whole room exploded in happiness when Lindsay and Andrew were pronounced man and wife.

After their Fort Wayne wedding, the newlyweds hosted a reception at the Fort Wayne Hilton. The music was provided by Quatro Systems and the dancing went on into the night. The first dance was a moment of elegant celebration, as the couple danced under soft lighting. The toast was led by the best man, who gave a delightful tribute to Lindsay and Andrew. Following the cutting of the cake and the tossing of the bouquet, the bride and groom headed off on a secret Texas honeymoon.

Hope you enjoyed our photos of these two as much as we have! Check out the rest of them here. Also, check out the AWESOME wedding video done by Big Burrito Creative down below!
