Lindsey & Josh // Joseph Decuis Farmstead Wedding

Lindsey and Josh tied the knot (on one of the hottest Saturdays of the year thus far)! Despite the crazy heat, these two had a beautiful wedding day at the Joseph Decuis Farmstead. This venue was breathtaking. With a wide variety of locations and beautiful backdrops of barns, gardens, and woods, this venue was one of the most fun we’ve photographed! This was our first time shooting at this venue – We can’t wait to photograph here again! If the highlight photos below aren’t satisfying your wedding photo appetite, you can check out all of their photos here (CLICK ME)! But before you see their wedding photos and read about all the sweet details, you should learn a little more about these two and their engagement session with us (CLICK ME)!

Lindsey’s day started with getting ready at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Fort Wayne with her bridesmaids and Andrew. That’s where we met up with them and captured all of the getting ready details! It was a very fun morning. Everyone was so energetic and excited for the big day – so much personality in one awesome group of people. We knew that we had a super fun day to look forward to with this bunch! After capturing some photos of Lindsey, we headed over to Lindsey and Josh’s home to capture Josh and his groomsmen getting ready. We had the chance to capture some really tender moments between Josh and his son. Isn’t he just a little ham?

Once these guys were done getting ready, we headed over to the Joseph Decuis Farmstead. This is where Lindsey put on her beautiful wedding dress, surrounded by her mom and all of her best friends! The heat changed up the wedding day timeline a little, but the changes didn’t bother Lindsey and Josh one bit! After Lindsey added her final wedding look details, we headed outside for her first look with Josh. These two met under the covered walkway leading to the outdoor patio at the Farmstead – It was a very sweet moment. After their first look and some portraits, Lindsey had a first look with her dad. Let’s just say some happy tears and lots of smiles may have occurred! After some portraits of the bride and groom, we gathered the wedding party and family outside for family and group photos! We worked quickly so everyone could relax and cool off in the air conditioning before the ceremony! Once portraits were captured, it was ceremony time! The ceremony was inside one the beautiful stables on the Joseph Decuis Farmstead. The rustic look of the space provided a beautiful atmosphere for the ceremony. After Lindsey’s dad walked her down the aisle, she and Josh made lifelong promises and tied the knot! After a sweet first kiss, these guys were officially married!

The reception was in another of the awesome facilities on the farmstead. The ceiling was draped in white fabric and string lights. The tables were decorated with an assortment of candles and greenery. It was stunning. After a sweet prayer, hilarious toasts, and cake cutting, these two played the wedding shoe game! Josh’s son even participated (Yes, it was so cute). We also got to see Hailey and David, a past couple of ours! If you’d like to check out their wedding photos, click here (CLICK ME)! It was a pleasure getting to capture Lindsey and Josh’s wedding day. Everyone was so kind and so fun to work with! We couldn’t have asked to work with a better group of people! These two ended the night by dancing the night away with all of their favorite people. What a fun day! We hope you enjoy married life and enjoy your wedding photos for years to come. Best wishes!!!

Cheers,
– Dustin & Corynn
