Meet Sara & Tim! We met these two down in the great city of Indianapolis for their engagement session. Rather than photographing this down-to-earth couple in the hustle and bustle of the city, we decided to do a backyard session along the lake that their home is on. Despite the heat and the crazy humidity, these two were great in front of the camera! We loved getting to know them while photographing their engagement session. Now for the details…

We began their engagement session at home in their backyard. We loved how cozy and comfortable this session was! Believe it or not, we had to reschedule this session THREE TIMES because of weather. We thought for sure it was going to rain again, but it didn’t! We ended up with some sunshine and blue skies! The next location we went to was down by the dam near their house. Water means a lot to Sara and Tim, so capturing their engagement and love here was essential. We love how those photos turned out! After photos in their backyard and by the water, it was time for an outfit change! If you can’t tell from the photos, these two love motorcycles! Tim rebuilds them as a hobby. So of course, we just had to capture Sara and Tim on one! We also got to capture these two with Tim’s huge collection of restored motorcycles. It was awesome! We’re so glad we got to capture these two with something that is so important to them! This session was a lot of fun – We loved getting to work with Sara and TIm, while capturing some super unique moments for them both.

These two will be getting married in september at the beautiful Mavris Arts & Event Center in Indianapolis! This historic venue has a beautiful industrial look – wooden beams, exposed brick walls, and artwork hanging from wall to wall. It is a gorgeous venue. We can’t wait to photograph these two there!
