Sarah & Ben // Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Another one of our amazing Cincinnati Couples got married! Earlier this year, we did their engagement session too. You can read all about how we met Sarah and Ben and the awesome time we had with them here (CLICK ME)! Fun fact about these two… after being together for over 6 years, their first kiss was on their wedding day! Can you believe it? No wonder they were extra EXTRA excited. We love learning more about our brides and grooms, especially when it’s as fun and unique as that! These two were smitten all day! Now for the details…

Sarah started her big day by hanging out with her mom and bridesmaids at her and Ben’s NEW home. Everyone laughed, cheered, and got excited for the day all morning. When it came time to put the dress on, Sarah’s mom helped get her in. It was super sweet because Sarah had her bridesmaids turn around for a big reveal of her with her dress on. Her bridesmaids helped with the details of jewelry, the belt, and shoes! Sarah and her dad had a first look in the front yard of their home. It was super sweet and even more smiley! Sarah was radiating with joy all morning – it’s so obvious how happy she is in the photos!

Ben and his groomsmen met us at the park after we had finished taking pictures of Sarah and her bridesmaids at the same park (these two were doing their first look down the aisle, so no peeking)! Then it was ceremony time! Just like any wedding day, things get a little behind schedule – This didn’t bother Sarah or Ben at all! These two were just excited that they were getting married and got to celebrate with friends and family afterward! After a sweet ceremony and long-awaited first kiss, Sarah and Ben were married! We headed to a few spots downtown, and of course, the beautiful Cincinnati Bridge for pictures of the newlyweds. Then it was time for the reception.

Sarah and Ben brought in a wonderful band who played awesome swing/dance music all evening long – It was extra special because her grandfather was playing in the band too! The venue they chose actually used to be an old church! It was converted into a reception hall. Talk about an epic location! There were toasts, laughs, cake cutting, and lots and LOTS of dancing. In case you missed our blog post on their engagement session, these two are professional dancers! Again, you can view that here (CLICK ME)! Half way through the reception, Sarah went in a back room and came out in a knee length wedding dress! It was such a fun surprise – only a few people knew the secret to her long removable skirt on her dress. I guess it would be pretty hard to dance in a heavy, floor length gown (especially with how these two professionals dance)!

This was a beautiful wedding to be a part of – We have loved getting to know you two through your dancing (at a different wedding we took photos at), through your engagement session, and now, your wedding day. After weddings like these, we feel like we have made some lifelong friends. We hope you guys had a wonderful wedding day. We wish you guys the best of luck on this new path called marriage!

Cheers,
-Dustin and Corynn
