Stephanie & Jon are married! Their Botanical Conservatory wedding was the most touching and emotional ceremony. We absolutely loved being part of it, and can’t wait to show you more.

If you don’t remember Stephanie & Jon’s downtown Fort Wayne engagement session, click here! They had a musically inspired engagement session, which perfectly foreshadowed their musically inspired wedding. On their wedding day, Stephanie had a custom-made wedding dress sprinkled with music notes. It was unlike anything we’ve ever seen! Jon wore a handsome hunter-green corduroy suit. They were a dashing pair!

Stephanie also made her succulent bouquet (such a unique idea!), along with the boutonnieres and corsages. Once Stephanie was wedding-ready, we headed outside for the first look with her dad. It was such a sweet moment! Right after, it was time for the first look with the soon-to-be husband and wife. Jon cried when he saw Stephanie for the first time, making us cry too! This is why we love photographing weddings.

We captured photos of our bride and groom, and then, it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Foellinger–Freimann Botanical Conservatory. This is such a stunning setting for a wedding! For their ceremony, Jon put the music arrangements together himself. Then, they pre-recorded themselves playing several instruments and singing, creating an orchestra played completely by them. They said they cried happy tears often while doing the recording preparation for the day!

During the ceremony, Stephanie & Jon played rock paper scissors to see who would read their personally written vows first – how cute! Everyone was crying during the vows. They were so, so sweet; there were actual tears running down our faces! Jon looks at Stephanie with such love – all day, we caught him staring at his stunning bride with the sweetest love in his eyes. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, it was time to celebrate!

Their reception was a hit. Alomar Entertainment provided the DJ service, which brought the party! Then, Shigs In Pit did the catering, and it was absolutely delicious. The reception space is outdoor, so they had a beautiful setting, which included pretty string lights across the dance floor. We had a blast dancing the night away with Stephanie & Jon and their wedding guests!
