We learned that Tonya is a masterful wedding planner! Before getting ready for the day, Tonya orchestrated all of the decorating and details at Ceruti’s – Every detail was purposeful and beautiful, down to the centerpieces and head table decor. Tonya had everything put together beautifully for their big day. She even created the floral arrangements herself (Check out her bouquet… it’s to die for!). Tonya and her bridesmaids got ready at Ceruti’s, where the reception would later be held. Most people don’t realize that Ceruti’s has a wonderful getting ready area for brides on the wedding day! After finishing hair and makeup, Tonya slipped on her dress while surrounded by her awesome bridesmaids. After both Tonya and Drew were ready, we all headed over to the beautiful Lakeside Park to capture a very sweet first look.
When Tonya arrived, we made sure Drew had his blindfold on and was in place. Tonya walked right up to him, took the blindfold off, and threw it right into the wind. These two could not stop looking at each other. Smiling, holding hands, laughing – all day long! After some sweet first look action, we capture the wedding party with Tonya and Drew and did some family portraits as well. Then it was ceremony time!
The ceremony was at the beautiful Rose Garden at Lakeside Park. One by one, bridesmaids, flower girls, and ring bearers walked down the aisle by the beautiful water feature at the park. Then it was time for Tonya to walk! All eyes were on Tonya as she glides down the aisle. Her eyes met with Drew’s and the rest is history! They shared vows, completed a sand ceremony, and exchanged rings! Tonya and Drew were pronounced husband and wife, and kissed! Then the cheered and smiled the whole way down the aisle.
After the ceremony, guests headed to the reception while Tonya, Drew, their family, and wedding party stayed at the Rose Gardens. You can’t go wrong with the beautiful landscape and architecture there. Everything was landscaped so beautifully – it was perfect for portraits! After family portraits and some of Tonya and Drew, we hopped on the trolley and headed over to one of Fort Wayne’s beautiful art murals along Columbia Street! We captured the wedding party here, then it was time to head back over to Ceruti’s!
Tonya and Drew had a super fun reception. Everything was decorated beautifully and guests were having so much fun. Tonya and Drew spent the evening with friends and family, celebrating their new marriage to the fullest! Dancing, toasts, dinner, and cake – The reception was a blast. At the end of the night, the sky was gorgeous – We just had to sneak these two out for some epic sunset photos. The weather was perfect, the timing couldn’t be better, and the sunset could be more awesome! We loved capturing Tonya and Drew’s Rose Garden Wedding.
